I have one on the front and back doors. It also helps protect the inside door from the elements.

i have seen both...

and to answer your question - no on the front door...i think we used to have one though, yes on the door going to the backyard

Nope, none of my outside doors are screen. I have the all glass storm doors on both of my major outside doors with the larger door on the inside. My DD's house just has the large steel doors. No screen doors, no storm doors, no nothing. Just door!

We have a metal door that has 2 glass sliding parts to them. The bottom used to have a screen, but we don't keep one on there anymore. We call it the screen door, but it doesn't have a screen.

In Italy they do not have screen doors on their front doors. However on all of my french doors that lead onto the balconies and patios (3) I have screens, as with the windows, but that isn't common in Italy either. Most Italian homes do not have screens, why I don't know because the flies and mosquitos are nasty. When we were negotiating our contract with our landlord screens were the first thing I wanted to negotiate, the whole house (windows and french doors) cost $800 and we paid for half.....a small price to pay for screens. The only windows I couldn't get screen for are for the skylights, they were far to expensive, but I can live without them.

We have one, what is left of it. I just wish I could program my kids to remember that the screen door needs to be pushed on the metal, not the screen!

We have several on our sun room. It's so nice to be able to open up the doors and let the air in there...:D

I got one this year on our new house. In the winter I will have the storm door (the glass part) put on to protect the main door from the winter elements.

I LOVE having the breeze come through the house! Alot of my neighbors don't have one, though, and I don't know how they can stand it.

Oh, snoopy, if you see this, I love that pic in your signature. What is it a picture of?

one on each door. And of course in all the windows.

All doors and windows in my house have a screen. I would hate to not be able to open mydoors on a nice day and get the fresh air in!!!!

Just in the back. We don't need one in the front, since we wouldn't leave that door open. (It would just make the dog bark at everyone on the sidewalk.) We'd also have to get a screen door on the front approved by the architectural review board in our neighborhood, and that's just a big hassle.

No on the front door (it would ruin the look of the house) and yes on the back porch and slider leading to the back porch (although we never use it since it's all screened in).

We have two. Well they are storm doors that can convert easily to a screen door, but we have one on both our front and back doors. Only one that doesn't is the door that leads to the garage.

We've got three sets of sliding screen doors for sliding glass doors leading into the courtyard. Also, we've got a screen door leading into our screened veranda. I'd love to have a screen door outside the front door so I could leave it open and have a breeze sweep through the house, but it would just look awful.
