I got a call yesterday from someone asking me to sell or rent my DVC property. It was ironic that they called at the time they did because I was searching through my Member Guidebook planning another DVC vacation when she called.
I only had one response for her, "NEVER!!!" She laughed and said "have a nice day!". I guess she won't be calling me again!! I in it until the end!!

You are not the first. There are reports of realtors going through the deed records and cold calling the owners to see if they will list with them. I bet they have buyers looking for the resort and points you have already lined up. The resale market seems to be getting hot.

No Debbie, I do not know who they were. I was too consumed in planning my next vacation (I had my DH on the other line) when she called and asked me to sell. I neglected to ask her where or how she got my name and number. Either way, I don't think she will be calling me again!! I just hope she passes it on to her fellow "cold calling" telemarketers.

I don't get it. It looks like you've been on site every year since 1985.

I got one of those calls too last week. I found it strange, but not as strange as my answer may have seemed to this young lady. I sweetly replied to her question of "would I like to rent or sell"... you must be joking right, my husband put you up to this as a joke didn't he? She assured me this was no joke and I said "yes it was and have a nice day". End of conversation ;)

Probably Century 21 Timeshare Resales. A second warning to any who might be tempted to sale. These companies usually have a listing fee, appraisal fee or whatever they want to call it. Regardless of the name, it's usually about $495 our of your pocket with no results. They'll promise to rent and/or sell for outrageous prices. Be warned.

Hi Mooses,
We travel to WDW a few times a year or more and end up staying off-site at least once a year. The properties can't even compare to WDW properties. Hopefully, since we purchased DVC last October we will only be staying ON the property, although we did stay off-site last November!!!
BWV in July....here we come...
