Wow, sorry to hear about the Swan. That must have really stunk. Glad you were able to switch to the BC, though! Did you have pink or green walls?

BTW, when are you going in October? I see you switched to the Polynesian! Are you going to do garden or lagoon view?

Thanks!

Yes going to go in october and already switched to poly! Doing the garden view, but did scope out a building / location already. Since we ask for non-smoking I always wind up in tahiti for the lv and it is SO far and out of the way. We really liked being closer to the pools and main building. MKY

Which resort did you like better, the Poly or BC? Thanks, Carolyn

I'm sorry you were disappointed at the Swan. I know you had been looking forward to staying there.

I guess I would pick the poly cause our most favorite resorts are the CR Tower & Poly. We really favor the magic kingdom resorts. Like the location, and the people, both CM's & guest. The rooms are much bigger, and the location can't be beat. We do usually rent a car and drive to other resorts and shopping, and the outlets, so magic kingdom is a bit farther but over the years have learned a lot of the back roads and entrances so it is really no problem. This time we never once got on I4! The BC is a good location and we thought about it for oct. but decided that if we were going in the really busy season (summer or holiday's) we would use BC cause of epcot & mgm were not 1/2 as busy as mk & we found we had to spend more time there because of the crowds at mk. Hopefully we can make up some time at the mk in october! The BC pool is great (SAB) but it is a workout! With the current and depth (we are poor swimmers), you really need to be able to swim well to throughly enjoy it. There are 2 great area's for small children and then the deep area's, but it seemed there was a gap in the middle ground. Also we have stayed previously at the yc (3 times) and really do not care for it at all, and really did not want to stay there again, (previous problems already written about on the dis) and did the BC (2 times before) but find it very different from the yc. What you give up in balcony space is more than equal to the ambiance! Any other questions or clarifications feel free to PM me!
