We are planning a trip on the Wonder in July 2003. We can book the airfare beginning next week through member services. Do their prices vary? Meaning, is it cheaper to book now or wait closer to the time of departure (Mar, Apr) for a better fare?

I know this isn't the most cost effective way to do this, but we are booking air and bus transfers through DVC (long story).

I have always got a better deal by waiting until 60 to 90 days out. In out area Delta flys out of LGA and Southwest out of Islip. You could also fly out of JFK but thats tough, or even Newark. Most of the time airlines will run deals if they see that the seats aren't filling as fast as the would like (Holidays excluded).

Try Jet Blue out of JFK - really good fares, new planes, TV 's at every seat. I have never been able to get a better deal on air through MS than I have on my own. We are taking the 7 day on 9/21 and I've got r/t on Southwest for $138 each and Tiffany Town Car for $70 each way to the ship. That's only $24 more than the bus! Anita.

Flew Jet Blue in April non-stop to MCO and would do it again in a heart beat! The fares Disney gets aren't that great in the package. Save some cash and book it yourself.

I agree that you don't want to book this early, unless the fare they quote you is REALLY good. Last November I started to look at fares for a trip this October. United was quoting about $340 from ORD to MCO, the same flights last week were $181.00. So I sugguest you just keep looking and when you get one that's close to historical low prices grab it.
