Well yesterday we got news that DW has been granted an EVC and it will be a Victory 9, 3 wheel.
Anyone have any reviews or opinions about this particular scooter?

I looked it up on the www.pridemobility.com website. It seems to be a new model. I have a Celebrity-X which is a bit bigger, but I do know that Pride makes excellent ECVs. I think that you should have no problem with it.

If it is a new model, you may not find a lot of reviews.

This is a link to a well known review site for wheelchairs and ECVs. (http://www.usatechguide.org/scooter_reviews.php)THey don’t have that model that I can see, but as Cheshire Figment mentioned, Pride Mobility does have many good reviews for their scooter.

I am going to move this thread to the disABILITIES Community Board since it is not about WDW.

My DH has a Pride Victory 10 and LOVES it. It is really fast, and holds a charge for miles and miles. (We run it all over Fort Wilderness and all over the parks.)

We rented a Pride Victory 9 just last December when my DH joined me unexpectedly on my extended trip at Fort Wilderness. He drove his car which will not hold his Pride 10.

The Pride 9 worked exactly like the Pride 10, but was not quite as fast. Held a charge really well. We also had it at Fort Wilderness and drove it all over there, plus the parks.

The Pride 10 is really heavy, and it's all we can do to lift it in the back of the truck. We never tried lifting the Pride 9, but it would seem like it would be lighter.
