Lens Choice

DW and I are heading down to the World tomorrow for a week long trip. I plan on taking the Sigma 18 - 50 f/2.8 and Olympus 40 - 150mm lenses.

Given the Olympus 2X crop factor, I'm wondering if I should take my Olympus legacy manual focus 50mm f/1.8 lens. I don't know if I'd be gaining much over the Sigma.

If you are planning on taking photos on the dark rides then you will probably need the 1.8. I plan on bringing my old Pentax M 50mm 1.4 for that purpose. I would love to get something in the 30mm 1.4 range but the budget won't allow that.:mad:

I hear you. The Sigma 30mm f1.4 would be really nice but the cash flow at this time won't allow it.
