Just joining this great group of people! I visited WDW about 6 times in the late 70's/early 80's as a child/teenager with my parents and brothers. Now, my husband and I are starting to plan our first trip with our daughter for the summer of 2012! She'll be 6yrs old at that time and I can't wait to introduce her to all the fun.....and selfishly, I can't wait myself! I haven't been since 1994, and that was only a 1day quick visit to the MK. So, I actually haven't seen most of WDW since 1987! I'm sure I'll be frequenting the boards as we get closer to serious planning. I look forward to everyones advise and stories.

Welcome to the boards!! You will find a ton of information to plan your trip. I am a chronic planner & actually over-plan. I buy travel books for the basics, but you can get up-to-date information here from people who have been there, done that. You can find out what to do & what not to do. We basically can learn from others mistakes since we all are so open to discuss them. The podcast are agreat place to discover information too.
