Good morning, everyone. I'm running a little late today. Once in a while I actually have to do some work before I DIS. So here goes with Monday's edition. As always, I hope you enjoy it.

Alexander Graham Bell never telephone his wife or his mother. They were both deaf.

Alfred Hitchcock did not have a belly button. (I guess we realy needed to know that)

At one point the Panama Canal was going to be built in Nicaragua.

In 1836 Mexican General Santa Anna held an elaborate state funeral for his amputated leg. (Aything for a party, I guess)

Ramses II, a Pharaoh of Egypt, died in 1225 B.C. At the time of his death he had fathered 96 sons and 60 daughters. (When the heck did he find time to be Pharaoh?)

The shortest war in history was between Zanzibar and England in 1896. Zanzibar surrended after 38 minutes.

50% of all bank robberies take place on Friday. (See, that's why I take Friday's off)

The following is printed on the book held by the Statue of Liberty. July IV, MDCCLXXXVI.

There is no rice in rice paper.

Construction worker's hard hat we first invented and used in the building of the Hoover Dam in 1933.

That's what I want to know! I tiny one? Very flat/smooth? Probably? NO belly button? I can't see how. Did he get nourishment from the placenta via osmosis?

I doubt he fathered them in the modern sense of the word. He was probably more like a sperm donor.

I wish I had an answer on the belly button deal, but I don't. Then again, he never won an Oscar, either.

Ramses fathered 154 children and they named a birth control product after him?

<font color=navy>I looked up the belly button

Alfred Hitchcock didn't have a belly button. It was eliminated when he was sewn up after surgery.
