Found a really beautiful Victorian looking wallpaper but it really looks like it doesn't need a boarder....what do you think?

I hope this works,

I think it's lovely!

The rooms in my house that have wallpaper (all the bathrooms, and Allison's room) do not have a border, just the wallpaper.

What room in your new house is that for, Beauty?

We don't have wallpaper in this house, but at my dad's house, all the rooms that do have wallpaper do not have a border. THe only places that do have a wallpaper border are the rooms that are painted and the border used as an accent to the paint. So in short, I say you can definitely use that wallpaper alone :)

The paper is for my bedroom....still haven't made up my mind on the walls although I know the "theme" I want to do is the Old Victorian South with pictures of Riverboats and old Plantation homes. John is going to build a large curtain/canopy thing for the back of our sleigh bed.

Hey there! Haven't been in touch for a while! Love the wallpaper! I don't think it needs a border at all, matter of fact, I think it would be too busy with a border!

I love what your husband is going to construct over the bed...I would love something like that but I have a Cathedral ceiling in my bedroom so I wonder if it would look any good? Do you hire out for decorating??? :)

How's your J-C doing? My Nicholas is getting ready to return to school end of August & my baby is 9 months old already! Where has the time gone?

I've e-mailed you but I haven't gotten any response...did you change your e-mail address?

Anyway, LOVE the wallpaper! No border...just my 2 cents!!

That's beautiful. I wouldn't add a wallpaper border, but if the room is large you might want to consider some type of decorative crown molding.

Rose!!!!!! I'm so so glad to see you back on the DIS!! How is everything!! My email that I am using is disney@cox-internet.com Did you email the beauty address? I still have it but don't check it often...I will have to go look!

John-Cole started school Friday but tomorrow is his actual first day of 5th grade!

Yep I think it will go wonderfully with the pictures! We "might" go to the Flea Market in Memphis this next weekend...they usually have all of these prints framed...then I will have to compare them in real life with the wallpapers.

Rose we haven't made up our mind yet whether to hire out or to "try" and thats a BIG try to do it ourselves.

Hey Beth...I was so excited to read your reply! I can't believe John-Cole started school already! I also can't believe he's in the 5th grade already too! Nicholas will be going into 1st grade at our Church's school.

Again, I have to say I love the wallpaper. What type of bedding do you have or will you be changing that also? I've been looking for new bedding but I haven't found anything I must have yet.

I did e-mail your old address. I have some bad news on my mom. I'll write you again privately.

Do you still have all your beloved animals too??? (Boy, I've missed you!)
