I am getting very excited about it now!!! We have been waiting so long to do this trip (saving for years) and I can't believe we are finally getting close.

Jetski girl-I like reading the reviews of the POLY too, good bad or indifferent. I feel it keeps me from having unrealistic expectations for the POLY.

Me and my husband honeymooned in Hawaii this as close we will get to Hawaii any time soon.

I am so glad my trip is in August because honestly summers fly by for us and we will be here before we know it!:cloud9:

I can hardly wait for my own personal POLY immersion program, I have been obsessing all things POLY since January. I keep dreaming of Wishes by the pool!!!!

My friend told me once about her trip and how they were in the pool watching wishes...after that I was done...I wanted that magical moment for myself.

POLY has been my dream resort, since I was 5 and I rode the monrail and saw this fantasy resort.

This Disney trip is a surprise to my kids, but on our last day at POR we will pretend we are leaving for the airport, but really we will be headed for the POLY.

I have POLY designs for special shirts for the POLY, I have Kona, Ohana, Ohana character breakfast and Spirit of Aloha ADR's. I have the Leis packed, the tink gifts centered around hibiscus flower themes(3 DD's), and our matching Family Hawaiian clothers.

That is one of the coolest things I have ever heard! LOVE the "pretend last day" concept. What a great idea. I'd say I can't wait to read all about how it goes, but that would mean my own trip is over! ENJOY the MAGIC!

This is a great idea dizneechic! I admit I thought about indicating CL with a *, but just didn't, so now that you have suggested this, I will definitely go back and do that! I'm on my BB now, and this will not be easy to do until I get on my home computer, which will be a few hours from now. So this evening, you will see a * pop up next to many names in the above list to indicate CL guests.

Some are AFRAID to fly (my dad will not go on any vacation that requires a flight, but will drive or sail just about anywhere). Others do it because they want to have their own car with them, or they simply enjoy the drive, so they make an adventure out of the trip.

I got my family hooked on the Poly in 2001, when I brought them to dinner at 'Ohana and we watched EWP and fireworks from the dock. Next time, DH insisted we stay there. It's been a love affair between us and the Poly ever since. Do I read this as you are going to WDW on July 29th, but not staying at the Poly? Thanks!

We have decided to stay two more nights/3 days at POP. We've never stayed there either. Looking forward to 10 days in our most favorite destination and home away from home. We will actually arrive in Orlando on the 7th....stay offsite, but use our AP's to go to MK that night. :cool1:

Congrats on paying it off soon, I wish I would have gotten the 40% deal I was a about a week shy of that deal, but I did get 25%ff, so that helps. :wizard:

We'll be there the same time as you! As for codes, I never get them either :confused3 BUT that doesn't stop me from calling and asking if they have one attached to me (or anyone else) in my family. Usually the answer is no :laughing: but the last time I called I said I wanted to upgrade from ASMuFS to Poly but needed a code so was hoping we finally had one and the CM said let me see what I can do and viola, there happened to be a 40% off one for me. :cool1: I'm not sure there really was one or if he was able to *find* one but I wasn't going to argue! We're also AP holders so worst case was I booked full price and just had to wait for AP rates and hope there was availability at that rate once they came out or do a little shuffling location wise.

This time we're hoping for a BB for Jan or we'll have to book rack rate and switch when the deals or AP rates are released. :thumbsup2

I know I've seen this question before and the answer was no they aren't metal, I think they are wood. Doesn't mean you can't tape them up. :thumbsup2

I am s-o-o-o excited, added an extra day so won't leave the Poly until 9/5/2010 now. My DD has been making lists and has all the ADRs on an Exce; spreadsheet. DGS still doesn't know he is going and I am bursting at the seems to tell him but won't. He is going to be over the top when we get there.
