View Full Version : Dolphin Swim: Earliest Possible Time?

I tried to make ressies for the Dolphin Swim at Blue Lagoon using their website reservation system. When they emailed me back they had me scheduled for an 8:00 A.M. checkin. There is no way that I would be able to make it there that early, correct? I am going to call them but I need to know what is the earliest time I could check in. Anyone have a ballpark figure for me???

We did the 10:30 am and was able to be back on the ship by 1:30. I made my massage appointment for 2:30 and was able to make it.

The dolphin swim was great, you will love it. Check to see if they will drop you off by the ship. We just went back to the ferry headquarters and took a taxi but I think I read that after the swim they can drop you off by the ship and save you the taxi ride. It would be worth it.

You will need to do this on your own. Leave the ship soon after it docks. Go past the people on the pier asking if you need a taxi. Go to the plaza and ask for a taxi to the dolphin encounter ferry on paradise island. The taxi ride should be about $4.00 a person. There will be a place to check in and they will call you when the ferry is ready to take you to the Blue Lagoon.

Why do you suggest skipping the taxis at the pier?

We were bombarded as we first got off the ship. When we said we needed a taxi, they made us wait until they had a full van. We needed to make to Dolphin Encounter so we left the pier area and went to the plaza where we were able to get a taxi with no problem.

We had waited 10 minutes and just didn't want to wait any more since it didn't look like anyone else were going to the same place.
