We are going to Kennedy Space Center in June for free thanks to our state rep. I know, not realy free, pay for it one way or the other. But contacted our state Rep a couple months ago and got passes for two adults and two kids. Can't beat free!!!!!

How do you do this? Is this just for Florida or all states? We are planning on taking the kids there in June... it would be great if we could get in free!!!:goodvibes

I contacted Steve King who is our state representative in Washington and one of his staff took care of everything. I got an e-mail showing the tour date and how many people. Try to do as far in advance as possible because numbers are limited. This is not a rip off, just consider it as a tax paying benefit. Good luck, I hope you can still get what you need.

My parents need tickets for Feb. I already contacted their Rep, I got an email saying they can't do it more than 6 months out. There are a limited number of tickets per day so the earlier the better.

At least now I have the email and phone number of the woman who handles it and can contact her directly in August.

Worked in Maryland also - Office of Congressman Roscoe G. Bartlett - sent him a note through his website and got an email with a fax confirmation page a few weeks later that I can pickup the tickets at the box office the day I am there. You do need to say how many people in your party (adults & children) and which day you will be there. Says admission is good for 2 days.

Well I just sent an e-mail to mine...keep your fingers crossed that someone in his office know what the heck I'm talking about :lmao: I keep saving money like this and that Dooney and Burke purse might be mine after all! :thumbsup2 Who am I kidding....I don't think I could spend that much money on a purse....but I can dream can't I??? :rotfl:
Is there other things they can get us in free for ???? Museums , national monuments or stuff like that????

Woohoo.:banana: I just got confirmation that our complimentary tickets will be waiting for us when we arrive in October. DD is going to be so excited. I'm going to have a hard time keeping all this a secret from her (she doesn't even know about the trip).

Just tried my rep in Ohio and the person I spoke with said they only get 5 tickets for the entire year and they are gone. Does not sound like many. I may try to call again or a different rep and see if they have any.
