We just arrived at VWL today, but started our trip yesterday at the AKL.

Can't begin to describe how fantastic this 1 bedroom is. We LOVE it, and as this is our first trip home, DW says I did good! Real Good! ( I talked her into DVC!)

Tagrel glad to hear you're having a great trip! It's great your dd is feeling better. Know how it is to have a sick dd at WDW. We've done WDW twice with antibiotics! Fingers crossed all 3 dds are healthy - now!

We leave tomorrow for OKW for 10 days! Can't wait!

Thanks everyone. We are half way through day four and having a great time. We are all loving this one bedroom villa more each day! next week we get to try out BCV, so that should be great as well.

We are officially spoiled and very happy new DVC members! :)

As to writing the reports 'live', its really not eating into vacation time. I enjoy doing it, and get it done while the kids take an afternoon nap. Works out great. Then I typically post the writeup at bedtime.

OK, day 4 and five are now up. We are enjoying a pool day today, so a much slower pace. Everyone needs to catchup on rest a bit!

Just posted days 8, 9 and 10. I've run out of picture space on my website. I'll have to find more space and add them in after I return home.

I'm not taking away from our vacation time. I do these when the kids sleep so I have to be in the room anyway. Keeps me quiet and I really enjoy it! :) I remember so much more detail when I get it down right away.

Great report. Entertaining and well written. Your daughters are lovely. Looking forward to reading the rest of your report. WLV are really something, aren't they? Can't wait to return there.

Just one tip for IoA. If wait time is too long for Spidey, go all the way to the end opf the park, and ride both Dueling Dragons (they are better than Hulk). They are always a walk-on up until about 11:00 am. They are awesome. From there, just do what your children and wife order :-)

Thanks for the interest everyone. Back home now, and we had a wonderful time! DVC is the best, and truly spoils you for everything else!

We got really busy the last few days, and I had a couple laptop issues, so the reports had to wait until now.

I just posted days 13 and 14 and will finish up days 15 and 16 as soon as I get a chance. I've got more room for pictures, so I'll be adding them as well. I'll post again when everything is finished.

As to our first trip home, it was fantastic. We own at both WLV and BCV, and stayed at both. My wife and I agree that the WLV had a touch more personality, but we love the BCV location and pool more. They were both wonderful, and we can't wait to stay at both again next year!

Your daughters are adorable. We also have two girls (ours are pretty much grown though). They still love Disney, though. We are taking our girls and grandma and grandpa for a trip to the WLV in October and can't wait.

The bulk of our points are at WLV, with an add-on at BCV. We feel the same way you do about the two resorts!

OK, it took awhile, but the report is complete. I've added pictures to all days, and several of Portofino Bay Resorts and Cinderella's surprise show - along with the typical family shots.

We had a FANTASTIC first trip home!!! Can't wait to go back next July and do it all over again. (non-DVC Christmas trip to look forward to, also!)

Hi Tagrel:

I had bookmarked your trip report the other day and finally finished it. It was great! I hope to do something like that on our next, next trip. Can't do those fancy scrapbooks like alot of my neighbors, but oh I'm sure I could do an on-line one.

I hope you don't mind but I had a couple of questions after reading your report.

1. Where did you find the 2 gallon zip lock bags? I know I've seen them, but now that we are preparing for our next WDW trip in October, they are nowhere to be found.

2. Where does one pick up the CM appreciation cards. Is this something you made, or can you get them from Disney?

3. I seem to remember that your little one was sick, but what was your impression of the Wonderland Tea Party?

4. For the Fantasmic show at Disney MGM, you refer to "Reserved Seating" . We've never stayed for Fantasmic as our girls are usually too pooped. The best we have done in the past is dress them in their PJs, put them in the stroller and walk from BWV to Epcot's Illuminations. Asleep by the time we're "home." Anyway, how does one get Reserved Seating.

It appears that we've got alot in common. We have girls, ages 3 and 5 1/2 . They are also deathly afraid of the automatic flushing toilets. We are also DVC owners. Anyway, I'll post this on the Dis DVC board since the questions are universal if you want to answer them there.

Answers to your questions:

1. My wife found the 2 gallon ziplock bags at Target.

2. The CM appreciation cards are something that someone created, and you personalize and print out on your computer. You can find them at the following site: CM Appreciation Cards (http://members.aol.com/tnmomofthree/CMCards.htm) The CMs really seemed to like them. I even laminated mine for that polished, professional look! ;) (OK, I just wanted to use my laminator!)

3. Maddy was a bit under the weather for the Teaparty, but after the initial separation anxiety (the CM's were GREAT at helping the kids that got a bit scared) She had a great time. They both did! They just went on and on about all the things they did! Each one received a photo with Alice and Mad Hatter in a paper folder that each character also signed. And they each had a bouquet of flowers for us when we picked them up! It was a highlight of the trip, and the Mommy and Daddy only lunch at GF Cafe was great too! :)

4. The reserved seating for the Fantasmic show was using the Fantasmic Dinner Package (Have to make reservations at Guest services in hotel (up to 7 days prior), or that day in the park). You can make reservations at Mama Melrose, Brown Derby or Hollywood and Vine for dinner and you receive passes to sit in this reserved section. (on the far right of the stadium seating, still we love not having to get there 90 minutes early (show up 30 minutes for the package) and we actually LIKE eating at Hollywood and Vine. So it works out great for us.

And those automatic Toilets are the bane of Maddy's short existance! The poor thing had two accidents while we were there, and she hasn't done that in almost a year!
