Getting to Universal from DTD

Hi there! Does anyone know the cheapest way to get to Universal from DTD? This is my first trip to WDW and we will be staying at a non-Disney hotel inside the world. ANy techniques? Anyone know if the bus runs to Universal or to I-Drive at all? Or will we be looking at a taxi?

A lot of if not most hotels run shuttles to
Uni and Sea World, contact your hotel and ask. if not you can call Mears and they will pick you up,
the cost is about 20.00 round trip, but I would check first, you may luck out and get a free bus.
Tiffeny also picks up all around Orlando..

We used Florida Town Car from WDW to Universal. We paid $50 round-trip for family of 4. Bill Ellis is super!

My husband and I took Mears from Polynesian for $12 round trip. I'm sure the price wouod be the same from your hotel. Just book day before. Have Fun !

The I Drive trolley stop isn't technically on property. When I was there in August I saw some people get off the stop near Wet n Wild (Skull Kingdom stop) and walk towards the parking garage.

Yes, that would be a very very healthy walk
