After much frustration and disappointment over installing a modem that isn't a modem but is a dial-up adapter. And WOW, isn't it fast!!!! Lovely.

I have had broadband for a few months now and my dd is complaining that it is getting slow!!!I do admit that it is much less frustrating than the old internet connection we had,but I do feel at times it has started to slow.
Who are you with?We are with Telewest.
The only problem with a cable is that it spoils you something awful. While staying with my parents this summer, I had to go back to a dial up modem. It drove me nuts--so pokey!

We're with Firenet. £26.50 pm. Three months minumum contract. I find them OK but then I've not really "been around" much, so to speak! ;)

Oh Dear!...
I pay £34.99 a month for Broadband, with AOL. I think I must be getting slightly ripped-off.
I might consider changing to one of the others now I have read they are considerably cheaper!, Do you get any extras as such (web space, parental controls, I.M, etc) with any cheaper providers?
