Hi folks,

Just a few things that should be brought to the attention of the Teen Board posters.

First, one item of note is that groups are forming on the board. It is alright to be in a group but cliques or other restricted groups are not allowed. The DIS is a public forum and everyone is allowed to participate.

Second, anyone may answer posts, I don't want to point any fingers, however the teen board is not a restricted posting zone. Only webmasters and moderators may dictate who does and does not post.

If anyone has any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Jenn or I.

Thanks,
Daniel

Technically Maggie, there is no finger pointing at you. You said from day one, the rebel trio is welcoming applications from anyone who wants to join. Its not like ur sending people PM's saying "Um, I just wanted to let you know that you can't be a rebel" ANYONE is allowed to participate in the RIT's that wants to be, if my memory serves me correctly (did I just say that???).

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I'm back in high school again. I thought I left all this bad stuff behind. And I quit another bulletin board to join this one because of the cliques.

Hee! I was just thinking that! When they mentioned superlatives I had an evil flashback to my senior banquet and how people were crying because they didn't get one ::shudder:: Just thinking about it reminds me of why I was glad to be done with high school. On a more positive note: I love the Dis!! I don't think the Rebel Trio or whatever is any diffrent from the DIS cheerleaders(Whatever happened to that?)!

Doesn't seem that too many people have a problem with these "cliques" because ANYONE is welcome to "join." And if anyone does have a problem, just speak up. It's not a big a deal

I feel totally confused. It must be from my two week vacation from the boards.

Guys lets try not and get mad, Daniel and I know that none of you meant any harm by having different groups. But look at it from an outsiders point of view, If you had just come across the DIS and then everyone had a "place" and somthing to be a part of,wouldnt you be less likely to post because you wouldnt be part of a group? No fingers were being pointed at anyone, it was just a reminder.

ummmm I just want to say that I agree with Jules. This is getting way out of hand. I did come across these boards after all these groups had been formed and it made me actually like the boards more b/c I felt like I wanted to be a part of it b/c everyone seemed so friendly. Neways I just wanted to let everyone know that I am not in the RIT or a Cheerleader and it doesn't bother me at all. I also haven't heard or seen neone complain about it.
