View Full Version : Best kept secret - Breakfast at FRESH!

We just got back from a week at the Swan and on our last day we decided to try the breakfast buffet at the Dolphin (Fresh). With AAA this buffet is 15.00 per adult and includes juice and coffee. I wasn't expecting much because I had never heard of it through any site. Let me just tell you, it was awesome.
It's not a huge buffet, but what they have is awesome.

First their are the usual scrambled eggs, potatoes, danish, oatmeal, grits, bacon and sausage and also scrambled eggs with cheese, ham, onions and peppers, yogurt and fruit. All of which seemed better than most disney buffets.

Then there are three different stations, each manned by a chef. At the first station, they make Mickey waffles, french toast and pancakes to order. The chef will even make Mickey pancakes. I had the french toast and it was hot, fresh and delicious. The kids in line were so excited to get Mickey pancakes and they looked great. The chef poured you your own little pitcher of warm syrup.

At the second station, there were carved meats (turkey and ham) and a chef that would make omelets (even an egg white omelet). You take a stainless steel cup and fill it with the ingredients for your omelet, hand it to him and he makes you an omelet.

The last station was a juice bar which looked pretty interesting, but I was too full.

I highly recommend Fresh - it was great! I can't wait to go back.

This sounds great! It actually sounds more on par with a Vegas buffet, like Wynn or Mirage. Thanks for the review! :goodvibes:goodvibes

We are staying at BC in August and are hoping to use our AAA card at the Swan/Dolphin (we're not going to be on DDP). Sounds like a great place (and price!) for breakfast buffet and close to our resort! Thanks for your review.:)
