View Full Version : My sister had a motorcycle accident!

My mom just called to tell me that my sister had a motorcycle accident today. She is okay, but she is pretty banged up, can't even sit at the computer. :( She received a motorcycle for her 40th birthday and has learned how to ride over the last 2 years and is a very careful rider. Today she was coming around a curve (slowly) and happened upon some construction and ran right into it. There was no sign warning of the approaching construction, she was upon it when it was too late. Her DH was behind her on his bike and saw it all happen. After going to the hospital she ended up with two swollen feet, a badly swollen and bruised knee and arm and lots of bruises and abraisions. She said the worst part besides the accident was waiting in the ER two hours and having the abrasions cleaned out.

A little TLC *pixie dust* would be greatly appreciate for my sister Mary. Thanks!

I am so glad to hear that your sister wasn't hurt more by that accident. Sending tons of PD Mary's way in hope that she heals up quickly!

Bless her heart. I'm glad she wasn't seriously injured although I imagine that she will be pretty sore for a few days :(

Just said a prayer for your sister for a speedy recovery. Thank God she wasn't seriously injured. Motorcycles are so dangerous!
