An American tycoon is planning to build an Elvis Presley theme park. J.D. Stacy wants to erect a $500 million development, called the Elvis Presley Ranch, on the land in Memphis Tennessee, where the singer honeymooned with wife Priscilla in 1967. Elvis once owned a ranch on the land, which is a short drive from Graceland, but he sold it in 1974 when his marriage to Priscilla ended. But Stacy looks certain to face opposition in the shape of Elvis' family, whose permission is needed before the singer's name and image can be used, and Priscilla and daughter Lisa-Marie are reportedly not happy with the plans.
