I probably should of bought the book on this diet but don't know if I will stick with it. Website does not give much info on which foods to eat or snack on. I know it's no carb (or very low) and hight fat/protein diet. Can anyone give me so ideas about what to eat or snack on? Any suggestions? I know about eggs, bacon, tuna, meats, fish. This is my third day, don't have the will power that I had 4 years ago. I know need to loose about 10 lbs. Thanks.

Good munchie snacks are nuts and black olives. I did it for a short time and I remember those were on the list.

I have lost over 50 pounds on this diet...still have 15 more to go...I snack on nuts and cheese. I do the mozzerella and cheddar twist cheese the most. I also do the carb bars...good luck!!!

The http://atkinscenter.com website has the outline for the 4 steps of the program. It also has the specific foods and amounts you can eat listed under the Step 1: Induction Phase area of the website. There is also a carb gram counter that you can download in pdf format. (Although the website appears to be down this morning.)

My SIL is on the diet and she has purchased the packaged muffin & brownie mixes made by Atkins. She really likes the muffins but said the brownies weren't that great something about the lack of sugar I guess.

For a treat she also mixes up sugar free pudding with whipping cream for a snack!
