We went on a Airtours airbus last year and had a great flight. I think the seat pitch is only about 29" though (someone might correct me on that). The seat back TV's were great, and the exercise we got going to the downstairs toilet made a change.

It really depends on the airline, they specify how many people they want to pack in (particularly charter airlines) which means it may be 28" to 30" for a charter airline compared to 32" or so on a scheduled intl flight e.g. BMI, Virgin.
Hoorah for seat back tv's! :bounce:
