Tay, I can answer the midnight question! I faxed my request at 7am (they open at 9am). Then about 9:15 I called to check on my request. (I know....a bit anxious, but thiswas my 3rd attempt to get the CC fishing trip for my son, and I REALLY wanted to get it this time)
Anyway I told the CM who answered that I had already faxed the form, and she said, "Oh they go through those things later this afternoon"
So not much point in faxing IF you are booking something that only has a few slots (in my case 12 slots for the whole ship). I think if you are booking things with many opening then calling or faxing 60 days out will work fine.

BTW I did get the fishing trip for my son and Hubby!

Nice meeting you in chat last night!

We can't decide whether to do excursions. We have been to both St. Thomas and St. Martin before. We also stayed on St. John for over a week about 5.5 years ago, and also went with a Windstar cruise last year and we LOVED it, but decided not to rush this stop, so probably won't go again. We are thinking of finding our own way to Coral Beach on St. Thomas, and just hanging out at the beach in St. Martin. We were there last year, and loved the "action". It was fun, load and fast paced (which we usually don't like, but was kinda fun for the afternoon).
What do the others with small kids think? jlmcantwait.... what are you doing?

Hi!!!
We are going to wing it! I am not big on the planned stuff, we have also been to both islands. I was thinking it might be a good time to enjoy a quiet ship! I would like Matthew to enjoy the beach so we might cab it in either STT or SXM I haven't made up my mind. I dont usually until the day we are in port! If it looks like the weather on Castaway Cay is going to be cool we will most certainly go to the beach one of the days. L:wave:
