View Full Version : I've heard the soft drink lowdown, how about juices?

Our kids are still quite small (2 and 4) and have not yet been exposed to drinking pop (hope it stays that way for a long time!) However, they are big juice drinkers. Is it possible to get complimentary juice or milk throughout the day or do you have to pay for those as well (other than during dinner hours)?

Thanks!
Deb

Milk is available on deck 9 at the drink station all day. Somewhere I had read that juice was there too, but I never saw it.

I think you might be able to get juice in the soda mugs. I got tonic water with a slice of lime most of the time. I got really tired of diet coke!

I am interested in this answer too. I have a 2 & 4 yr old also. Milk is ok on board but not to take off onto the islands where it will go bad. I was thinking of taking a 12 pack of juice boxes and watering them down on island days. I do this anyway at home to lessen the cavity problems.

We had 2 little ones on our last trip, DS3 & DD1, (we now have 3   ).

In the morning on port days, we always pack 2-3 small cartons of milk (from Topsider or room service) with some ice in a ziploc and place them in an insulated bag before getting off the ship. They will stay cold for quite a long time.

For juices during non-meal time, we rely on juice packs that we bring onboard with us.

For adults, we fill up large personal water bottles ice and punch from Topsider. They stay cool for quite a while as well.

I noticed orange juice was available in the mornings at the beverage station on deck 9 by Topsiders. You could always fill up a thermos or other container and then keep it cool to use during the day. We did not notice juice at the station after breakfast time.
