Very sad. Such an eloquent person, he is going to lose this ability too with this disease. I admire his courage with going public.

although i am no charlton heston fan, alzheimer's is such a sad disease. :(

I heard this on the radio this afternoon. So sad :( That is such a terrible disease. I wish him and all his loved ones the best as they all learn to deal with it.

My Grandfather died of this disease it is soo horrible!! :(

My grandfather died of this disease also. Very horrible death and so very sad.

While I have never agreed with his political agenda, I admire him as an actor. His announcement that he may have Alzheimer's was both eloquent and heartbreaking.

How sad! :( My grandmother is in her 12th year w/ Alzheimers. :( It is a terrible disease. :(
