Hi Everyone, I have been waiting for this thread to be posted! I booked this April cruise while onboard on our Thanksgiving cruise. :) I figured what better way to celebrate my 40th birthday- alot better than sulking and way better than the face lift or botox treatments than I was thinking of doing. I really don't like needles anyway.

I'm Deb and am sailing with friends (it's one adventure during our girls week) Looking forward to exploring the new ship:flower3:

LOL! I couldn't think of a better place to spend it and I refuse to spend the day sulken in bed like I did for my 30th. I am sure you're right it'll be awesome memories! I too can't wait to explore the ship, heck I can't wait for our DISboard folks to sail on her this month so we can start getting some inside tips!

Gosh, maybe it's time to do a new list of who's going on this cruise. Anyone good at doing that? On our Thanksgiving cruise one DIS person always had the first page of the thread with the list of names that are sailing. :)

PS

Are you guys gonna start talking Fish Extenders? I mean I don't have kids to participate, but I bet some of ya'll sailing do. You know we only got three months until the cruise! :):goodvibes

A fish extender is something that you have on your cabin door, its like a little organiser, can be bought or home made, (im sure there will be threads on here with photographs on) what happens is everybody fetches small gifts from their home town, either handmade, or small inexpensive things (candy, fridge magnets, pencils, etc) for the other people in the fish extender group. Once onboard we all have a day to deliver our gifts into other peoples fish extenders.
Its so much fun pottering around the corridors where you wouldnt go otherwise, and its so exciting opening the little presents,,,,okay maybe Im easily pleased, but we thoroughly enjoyed it!
We would need at least three people so we could have a delivery every day.

Hope Ive explained that well enough, my irish/english confuses even me!!

1. It is up to you if you want to give a gift to each cabin (FE participant) or each person in their cabin.

2. You pick which day you want to deliver. If you want to give every day, that is ok, but generaly just one day of the cruise is fine.(other than disembarkation day)

3. Whomever keeps the FE list can collect the cabin #'s and PM the list to the participants.

Thanks!

I have two questions:
1. Is there a place on the Dream for FE? I am seeing photos that show different things than fish and I can't tell if they can be hung there. There may not be a hanger and it may cover the electronic key.

2. We are in concierge and I'm reading those rooms are not accessible without a key...so how will FE work for people to deliver our gifts???

:worship: ooh, lucky you!!

I think we're going to have to wait to see how the FE exchanges work out for those on the first few sailings. I'm sure Disney is going to have to figure something out for the concierge level. There's probably enough people that participate in the exchanges that the subject would need addressed ;)

Yes, I agree. I am thinking they should hang some fish outside the gated area or something. So we want to participate...but I think we are going to have to wait for the first few sailings to come back and report. Maybe I'll "lurk" on their thread and figure out how they are going to work it. :thumbsup2

Im interested in the fish extender, participated in a few but never organised one, dosnt really take much organising though, just a matter of deciding who delivers on which day and giving out the cabin numbers. Especially that there dosnt seem to be that many of us : (

Yeah the time ticking away is what scares me. :) Oh Lordy, Lordy, I really don't want to be Fourty! That's why I decided to do a Disney cruise as Disney is all about the "Happiest Place on Earth" and I am certainly gonna need to find a happy place. :) I swear I didn't even get out of bed when I turned 30 and I didn't want to hear anybody say "Happy Birthday." I am really trying to be better about all of it this time around. Heck, I usually celebrate my birthday for a whole week and not just for a day. On the FE-I don't know, let me think about for awhile. :)

Hi folks

It me and DD18 joining the roll call for the April 28th "Just DREAM'in" cruise.
Looking forward to joining you. This is a last minute addition to my graduation present to self. We're coming to Florida April 27th for a couple of weeks (from the beautiful prairies of central canada - straight north of north dakota) and had a few days free and kept checking the disneycruise website and lo and behold if a cat 11 GTY didn't pop up one night at midnight for a song so we jumped on board and we'll be seeing you soon.

We don't know where our cabin is but we know they have a cabin set aside somewhere.

We've done one cruise before (Magic, western, 2008) and really just want to spend as much time exploring the new ship and to have another day at Castaway Cay. Does PCD (Post Cruise Depression) ever really go away? Ever since we stepped off board, we've been pining to step on board a Disney cruise ship again.

We're going to opt out of the FE but I'd love to meet other Dis'ers so that we can say "hi" when we meet at the quiet cove pool, cafe or if I bump into you on the dance floor.

Cheers

Welcome CoolCanadian! Oh and grats on your up coming graduation celebration. :thumbsup2 Looks like we'll both be celebrating on this cruise. :) I have added you to page one on here for the who is going on this cruise list. Looking forward to meeting you, by the way since I am a local Florida resident feel free to prick my brain about your stay down here before your cruise. :) And no I don't think post cruise depression ever goes away. I complain alot about that, I think that's why I got the "where's my free room service cookie" tag under my signature by the DisBoard tag fairy. LOL! The tag doesn't quite go well with my Disney Camping threads when I post there though. :)

Hi folks.
Thanks for the warm welcome!!
Deb, I hope that I get to meet you and your friends. I'd love to see some familiar faces at the cafe or at morning breakfast (my DD is a night owl and I'm a bit of a morning bird). On the last (first) cruise I ordered breakfast in bed each morning 'cause you can but I took some heat for having the phone ring at 8:30 each day when room service called to say they were on their way. Tough on a teen who was in The Stack until the wee hours of the morning!
Mmketeer, lucky you living in a State with so many lovely ports. Manitoba is pretty much landlocked unless you want to head EVEN FURTHER NORTH to the arctic ocean,..., somehow not the same. Since this was a last minute decision, we are staying at the CIS airport the night before and after our Dream cruise and using the Disney shuttle. For 2 folks it seems to work out to a pretty good price. We fly in the evening before so will get to the airport in the morning and try to catch a shuttle close to 10am (first departure time).
By the way - I went online to see if there were any cabins on our cruise and it wasn't even showing on the list anymore. Perhaps its sold out?
Cheers

:rolleyes1 If CIS refers to Country Inn & Suites . . .we're staying at the same hotel the night before the cruise too! :upsidedow

I don't think there will be any staying up until the wee hours for us, but I have a "reputation" for being the early bird in the group :sad2: I blame my time zone, but really, I can't seem to sleep when there's so much vacationing to do :dance3:

Hi Deb
I realized after my last post I still hadn't introduced myself. I'm Sandra and DD is Natasha. I've had a milestone birthday or two and that's as far as I'm going with that :-)
Yes, CIS is Country Inn Suites Orlando Airport. It got good reviews on tripadvisor and the free shuttle to and from the airport makes it convenient for our trip along with what I hear is a pretty good complimentary breakfast (starting as early as 6:30 or 7am I think - not bad for the early birds).
When I added ground transportation for the cruise, the rep said that the first shuttle left the airport at 10am. Any guesses for what time we should be at the airport to catch the first one?
Cheers,

I did a quick search on the main cruise board and found this information http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=37645781&postcount=9 or http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=37645671&postcount=8

Maybe it will help you decide when to get to the airport to catch the bus. We have a rental car, and will probably leave the hotel around 9 a.m.

That's helpful. With just two, the shuttle seems to be the best option and worry free. Thank you for the links. It looks like there may be a 9:30 departure so we'll see how eager we are to get up in the morning and maybe aim to be at the airport closer to 9'ish rather than 10.

Thanks for the advice. We were lucky and got a direct flight from home to MCO but its still a long travel day and who wants to board the Dream tired? DD has actually said "well, if we don't sleep we can fit it all in" in response to "how are we going to do/see everything we want to!
Maybe you will win a lottery and then you can cruise all you want :thumbsup2. see you soon,

You know I am not sure I did sleep on my first cruise which was on the Disney Magic. Oh wait yeah I think I did, but only for a few hours a night! :) It seems like no matter what though I am always tired the first day. I think part of it is the getting up at 6:30am to get out the door by 7 or so and all the adreniline. I am like a kid at Christmas time when it comes to cruising and the ship is my present! :) This time around it's such a quick cruise it will be tough. But, I will stay onboard in Nassau and probably at CC too. So, that will give me a little more time onboard. Oh and if I win the lottery, ya'll will know it, cause' I'd invite you guys as my guest onboard! But, alas I think you have to play before you can win. My luck is horrible. I mean I don't go to casino's, but if I did I'd probably be better off just handing them a $20 when I walk in the door and be done with it instead of trying to place a bet.

Heads up fellow cruiser's....especially if you check this thread first!

Their is a new terminal port check in procedure! Keep your eye on your reservation through Disneycruise.com and go to your online check in process. You will now have to choose the time you will arrive the port and the wording says "MUST" arrive at the port. I got the 10:30 time, but there goes my whole theory of trying to get there before 10am! I am a Gold member so I don't know if everyone gets to pick this far in advance. Though I heard Platinum members and suite guests don't even have to choose a time. Gosh, my "cheese" just got moved again. LOL!

Choose a Port Arrival Time.
10:30 AM - 11:00 AM

11:00 AM - 11:30 AM

11:30 AM - 12:00 PM

12:00 PM - 12:30 PM

12:30 PM - 01:00 PM

01:00 PM - 01:30 PM

01:30 PM - 02:00 PM

02:00 PM - 02:30 PM

02:30 PM - 03:00 PM

03:00 PM - 03:30 PM

:chat: Just an FYI . . .
Cass (aka Timon) is in the process of writing her trip report from her Jan 30th Dream cruise. It had LOTS of wonderful pictures. It is a work in progress. Thought some here might be interested in reading her thoughts and looking at all the great photos :woohoo:

Click HERE (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2650672) to find the report :thumbsup2

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! :flower3:

Wow, Timon has done a great job with her trip report. It's the best I have seen yet. Thanks for sharing it!
Guys, I am either gonna need some serious pixie dust with a upgrade from the upgrade fairy or some extra money, cause' I have just recently realized what a cat. 9a gty is that I have booked. Man, it was all that was available back in Dec. and it was a great rate. But, it's those wierd looking forward rooms. I really wanted a normal oceanview cabin that actually looks like the other cabins I have sailed in before on DCL. UGH!

We sailed RCCL Mariner of the Seas a couple years ago to the Mexican Rivera and had a forward facing cabin on deck 7. WE LOVED IT! We had a corner room which looks similar to the pictures I've seen on the main cruise board. I think the room most people are concerned about is on deck 6 which has quite a slant. I suppose it all depends on your needs/wants/likes, but the room felt spacious to us. My DH pulled the desk chair up to the porthole and spent most of the time in front of the window watching for whales.

In fact we have a 9A GTY booked on the Fantasy for April 2012. I'm hoping we get a forward cabin as I really liked it on the other ship (even though it's a different cruise line) I have decided I'm one of those that likes the front of the ship!:rolleyes1

On this cruise (4/28) we have a deck 5 extended veranda in the aft of the ship. I have been watching the threads concerning the aft rooms hearing a lot of noise from the lounges on deck 4. Our room is above a hallway, so I'm hoping we don't get all the "boom-boom" noise people are talking about, but I guess we'll see :confused3

We're going to have a great cruise . . . no matter what :woohoo:

:) I was on the madien voyage of Mariner, great ship. :) And, I was actually lucky enough to get upgraded into a balcony. :) Wahoo! I agree it's not that bad really of a cabin and I wouldn't mind it on another cruiseline. But, it just doesn't say Disney cruise ship to me. I have actually only been lucky enough to get a balcony 1 of the 8 times I have sailed with Disney. Normally I am on deck two in a oceanview cabin, which I like. And I don't care where it is on the ship. :) I hope your cabin won't be too noisy, but I'd be willing to switch with you if it is. LOL! I'll cross my fingers for you and you cross them for me. :)

Okay, I don't know if this is my fault or not- if it is I apologize. But, it looks like the FE questions was skipped over without a definite answer. Are we doing it or aren't we? I am not sure who was heading this all up, but I know it wasn't me cause' I have never done it before. I'll be happy to note FE next to the list I have on here on page 1 of who's cruising if anyone can confirm we are still doing this thing. Thanks!

I have no idea how I have been keeping this from them. I have toutured them by letting the kids watch the videos that have been posted of the dream, they get SO excited and say they can not wait to go in a few years. Hardest part is keeping other family from saying anything, we are going with my mom and bro & sis in law & nephew. None of the little ones know. I thought for sure my 8yr old would of figured it out when the info came in the mail.

Kim, I got your PM. You sound just like us! LOL. My family always travels in herds! This time I'm going with my husband, daughter, son -in-law and 2 grandkids. My daughter and I went pre kids for her. We had a blast! Now to be able to see my 2 grandkids enjoy it is beyond my wildest dreams. The FE's are great fun for all. I made ours. My daughters family has 4 pockets. One for each member of their family. Mine and my husbands has 2 pockets. What you give and when you give is all up to you. Some people only give once. It can get expensive. Some only give to kids. Some give to adults and kids and give all three night. I am giving to everyone, adults and kids and i have something for each night of the cruise. That's just me. I love to give! I've been hitting the dollar store and the bins at Target and making something for everyone also. Disneycrazy is heading up the list. She will give everyone a final list with cabin numbers and such. I've been keeping track and so far I have 16 adults and 10 kids including you guys. The things you give and get vary. It certainly doesn't have to be expensive. Go on line and put in fish extender gift ideas. My grandson is 7 and my granddaughter is 4..we'll have to get the kids together for sure. I'll be the grandma on the Aqua Duck!

Will there be a deadline to join the FE?

Dizneycrazee
03-03-2011, 11:13 AM
Ok

Everyone wants to know how many they need to buy/make for regarding the fish extender. So we need to make a deadline folks, tommorrow seems good as it has been going on forever and a day.:guilty:

Just a couple of questions before I send out the list to everyone involved.

Unless you WANT to do more,(think it was SDtink who said she had enough for a little everyday) I will give a dedicated day to deliver your gifts. There are probably gonna be two people delivering each day as its not such a long cruise (:sad1:) No delivery on the last morning as your FE will be packed away in your cases.

Newjerseymomma - do you want to count your two cabins seperately or together ie you make two deliveries in return? Sd Tink has two cabins but has already said she is delivering quite a bit: thumbsup2

One last thing, which cropped up in a previous exchange I participated in- if anyone has allergies, or would be offended by anything in particular (alcohol gifts etc) please pm me with details.

Okey Dokey, I have the list ready, except for phototech11, who hasnt pm'd me as yet.

Not long now - eeeeek- :yay::yay::yay: 48days for me to fly!!

One thing I forgot to mention.

I will include my mobile number on the list incase anyone gets upgraded at embarkation ( cabin number change) if you can text me with your new improved cabin number:laughing: than we can make sure you get your gifts still.

Oh thanks so much for taken this on Dizneycrazee and mentioning the allergies thing is a great idea. I would have never thought of that (coures' I am still tryong to figure what the heck to buy. LOL!)

I know it's a quick cruise, but we have Thursday (the day of embarkation) to give out gifts, which mean we need to get our FE's up as soon as we can get into our cabins right? Then Friday as well and lastly Saturday until 11pm. Right? Based on how many people are participating I might be able to do more than one day too. Maybe that's just because the kids seem to be so easy to pick up stuff for. I am still struggling with the adult gifts though when trying to keep it all Disney themed. And, is it one gift per person or per cabin? Sorry, first timer here doing this.

Oh and I agree let's make tomorrow (Friday, 3/4/11) the last day to sign up for the FE.

Sorry, no cabin number yet for me. I'll probably just post it live here when I do finally get though. I trust you guys, you won't over-the-hill my door, right? LOL!

Count us as two rooms since we are on different floors. Just an FYI- I have NO PROBLEM with alcohol! LOL!
Thanks again for putting this together! I like the idea of one dedicated day to give and if we want to do more we can.

Cut off sounds good to me. By my list we have 16 adults and 10 kids total. I spent all day today making magnets for my cabin door and my grandkids door. They turned out pretty good. I just printed stuff off the internet and added my little touches. It took a lot of printer ink but I went bananas and had fun!

Wow, now that I see the estimate from SDtink, I think your right. Let's go with the designated day if it's okay with everyone else. Man, I had no clue our little thread had so many people on this sailing! LOL! Gosh, I was think maybe 7 kids and I wasn't even thinking about how many adults that would be on here. LOL! I guess you can tell this is my first time doing this FE thing. LOL!

[COLOR="Magenta"]Oh man....me and my big mouth. Just be kind.....okay. I hope I won't be stepping over a giant "hill" of some sort to get to my door. Though DCL doesn't usually put me in the middle cabins, so at least I won;t have the entire ship making fun at me. I usually end up all the way in the back and this time I bet I'll be all the way in the front. LOL!

I think making the door decorations is the most pre-cruise fun! I posted a picture of my very first cruise door on my FB page. It's really grown since then and everyday I change it out based on the theme. Like for Thanksgiving I added a Turkey. And my Mickey head had a pirate hat for Pirate Night. I think I am gonna make new ears this time that have some glitter in them. It makes me feel so crafty to make these things, when I am so not! LOL! Have fun with your door decoration and thanks for the estimate on the FE people.

I need to find a way to make something for my door in my free time, LOL! I know it will make finding the room so much easier for the kids. 10 kids, I guess its not that bad, but 3 of them are mine ;) I might consolidate the adults into 1 adult gift to be shared for each room

The hardest part about making the door decorations in my opionion is getting the magentic paper or tape (whatever you want to use). It will definitly make it easier for your kids to find your door. Just go online find any Disney clip art you like (these Dis folks create some cool stuff too- just email them to have them send you their custom designs) and print it out. You can print it on magnetic paper or just buy the magnetic tape and stick it to the back. And the stuff you print you can laminate it if you want or not...I usually don't (saves time and money). These are great projects to get your kids involved with. For the Mickey ears, just use a thick felt or even that foamy paper will probably work. The pattern is on the Disboards somewhere. Oh and another cheap easy trick, go to Home Depot and pick up some of those Disney head silhoutte piant chips and cut them out and stick some magenetic tape to the back. Easy, fun and addicting! LOL!

Oh brother! LOL! Okay, yeah SDtink I think that's a great idea. I honestly haven't even started learning the layout of the ship yet (I gotta get that darn FE thing finished first- maybe by tomorrow it'll be done and finishing buying stuff.) I don't know if we want to make it an adult thing or a family thing or both? I personally will probably be staying on board for Nassau and probably for CC too. So I am open to suggestions. It'll be all about the ship for me for this cruise.:)

LOL! No kidding DizzylandDeb. The suspense is starting to stress me out. :( I am hoping by Monday I'll get assigned something. I don't think I can handle waiting until the 30 day mark. LOL!

For the meet and greet, I think everyone will be busy trying to get onboard before the mustard drill, getting their heads wrapped around the new ship, re-arranging dining assignments or making spa treatments etc. to get together that first day. Unless, we want to make it an after hours event later in the evening. Otherwise, my suggestion is to do it on our Nassau day. I know everyone will be busy on the day we are in Castaway (except me, I'll probably just stay onboard). So, what do ya'll think for what day to meet up?

I took the easy way out and purchased my FE on eBay! I figured by the time I bought all the supplies I would spend more than the $20 for the one I purchased on eBay. Have we come up with a final list of names? Was not sure if it changed from the last PM I received. Anyone looking for anything in particular from Disney...I am in Cali for a few weeks and will be visiting the Company D store while here. Think I might find some small items for the FE while here.

Nope, I think the list is final and the PM you got should be correct. :) Oh how I miss Company D! My favorite buy from there are hubby's hat's and the neon green Mickey head luggage tags that say, "Company D" that to this day I still have on my luggage- I have had these things for at least 10 years now. I use to also pick up writing pens and trinkets to give the CM's onboard the Disney ships as little thank you gifts. Because they usually have a unique Disney logo that they can't get onboard. I am a bit jealous, but have fun in Cali.!

Unfortunatly not from what I read on the stateroom reviews. Man, all I wanted was a "normal" cabin. I paid just like a normal guest when I rebooked this last November onboard, so it's kinda dissapointing. Hubby is gonna call them when he gets back from Arizonia (hopefully tonight). I hope he can get them to do something even if I have to pay for it. I could really use some Pixie Dust, so cross your fingers.

I love the Disboards. I read the one review for the disabled cabin I was given on deck 6. It was a horrible review. And theirs no balcony, small port hole and the worst thing- no split bath. I hate being one of those people that complain to get what they want, but I personally think this cabin would ruin my birthday cruise. I have been married for 19 years to my husband and though I love him I am tired of sharing a bathroom with him and for me, not having to do that is the best stateroom benefit that DCL has. So, I called the cruiseline and told them I paid just like everyone else and I am not sailing in a disabled cabin. I am not disabled and I want the spilt bath that I paid for with the cat. 9a oceanview. Well, the agent was a bit confused because she had never dealt with a situation like mine, spoke with her supervisor and again said their was nothing she could do the ship was sold out. Now, I know that's not the case cause' I had spoke with a CM during my last cruise about just this situation as I was afraid of something like this happening and they said, you rebooked onboard, you're paying the full current rate for what they offered you, so you don't have to take that cabin. So, I had the agent transfer me to a supervisor. Told him the same story and he said their wasn't anything available in that category. So, I said to him I am a Gold member, sailed 8 times before, got you two more cabins to sail on your new ship and you're gonna ruin my birthday. I can't believe this is how you treat your repeat cruisers. So he put me on hold and and came back to me with a great compromise. I had to pay a little more, but it was soooo worth it! I am now in a cat. 5a balcony on deck 9! Whew, I am once again excited about my Dream cruise. Disney has renewed my faith in them.

Now in cabin 9520, with a balcony! Wahoo!

Okay, so it looks like we have at least one person in our group with late seating. The last time we cruised we had that. My suggeston NewJerseyMom if you have to get it changed on board is to get to the location where the Matre D Will be to do dining re-assignments WAY before the adverstised time, cause we went there in November just to find out if our favorite server was onboard 20 min. prior to the time they were suposse to start and their was already a nice size line. I can only imagine what a nightmare it will be on the Dream.

So, I am thinking we should probably plan then for a meet-up at say 10:30 or 11pm? NewJerseryMom should be out of the late dinner seating and if we want to plan it for Pirates Night I think it will be wrapped up by then too. Anyone want to verify that? Or we could do it the first night about that time in say the Sky Bar? Any thoughts?

My daughter will be wearing her princess costumes every night and all the boys have pirate costumes for pirate night. I think I am the only adult in family group who will be going semi pirate as well.

The rest of us have odds and ends for pirate night- bandannas, eye patches, earrings, etc.

Whoa! What am I missing??? Pirate night!!! Tell me more!

HERE (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2651600) is a link to a recent 3 night Navigator. It shows Friday night as Pirate Night.

We have Remy reservations for Friday evening . . .I don't want to rush through that (expensive) dinner, but I hope we don't miss the party / fireworks! pirate:

Meemousemom, don't worry you haven't missed anything as we still haven't made any definite plans for a meet up. LOL!

For Pirate night, well humm...it use to be a HUGE event on Disney. They use to give out pirate bandanas and even had a special keepsake menu at dinner. But, on on my 4 night Thanksgiving cruise they didn't do any of that. They did still have the fireworks and a awesome pirate party with Mickey (who came flying over head on a zip line from a funnel), but I haven't heard on the boards here that it was that big of a deal on this ship. I am hoping even though Mickey won't be flying over head that the party is still alot of fun. I know they will still have the fireworks as that's a Disney exculsive. But, since this is all of ours first Dream cruise who really knows. If it really blows I figure I'll be at the bar sooner than later to have my own pirate party. LOL! If you PM your email address (after you've posted enough) I'll be happy to send you a picture of hubby and I taken at dinner right before the pirate party on the Wonder. I have a pirate T-shirt I usually wear, along with a pirate themed hair scrunchy and hubby wears my peice of eight.

Dizzyland Deb., I wish I had the money to do that and another night so as not to miss the three main restaurants. So, you going is definitly the next best thing for me! I definitly want to hear all about that experince while we are onboard or after we get back if we don't get to hook up. Congrats on getting that reservation! :)

:cutie: We booked this cruise while on board the Magic last October, so we are using our OBC to keep the cost down. Otherwise, I wouldn't be spending THAT much $ on a dinner. It's probably my one and only shot, because heaven knows I won't be getting my DH to do something like this when we sail on the Fantasy :rotfl: Edited to add: I did once spend a lot of $ to dine at Club 33 at DL, but again, DH wasn't with us . . .he's just not into "fine dining" :sad2:

LOL! Excellent I booked this cruise onboard the Wonder in November. I could have used my OBC for that, but then I'd be missing out on dining in the three main reatsurants. I thought about getting the Dooney and Burke pures with it, but then I saw a thread on here about them falling apart. So, I guess I'll be doing a lot shopping instead. No clue yet what I'll be spending it on. :) In anycase I am glad you are going for it and I can't wait to hear all about it. :)

Yea! I can't wait to dance with you. Ours didn't come yet. Everything in the midwest is slow. I made the mickey heads for the ends. Bought styrofoam balls and painted them black. Bought black craft foam and cut out ears. Made slits in the top where I wanted the ears to go and glued them on. Then just pushed the dowel hanger stick into them. Super easy! My next one has a pirate theme.pirate:
