I think this is just the craziest thing! I'm finding myself with pre-trip jitters. Even though I've been to Disney plenty of times before, this is the first time I'm planning a trip and taking my own family. I have about a month left (leaving June 11th) and I feel overwhelmed. I have everything in check as far as my hotel, tickets, car rental, dining reservs, ect... but I keep feeling like I'm missing something or that when I get to Disney (this is a suprise trip for my kids by the way) that all heck will break loose. I have bad dreams that the bank will have issues and we'll be there with no money (which has happened before, the bank put a hold on our account b/c they thought someone else had our debit card-luckily I carried cash, something i don't normally do.) I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I just wanted to know if anyone else has had or is having this? Maybe it's just me!!!

Hey there. I would guess it's pretty normal. Before our last trip I kept dreaming about missing dining reservations. Well we never did, and it was a fantastic trip. Maybe you could call your bank ahead of time and let them know you'll be traveling.
To the poster in Ohio whose DH is going to Vegas instead...you're a very nice wife. Way nicer than I. A family vacay is a family vacay.

:welcome: to the DIS!
I still get excited/nervous before a Disney trip! I think it's natural. I wouldn't worry too much about forgetting things; just keep a list of all the tasks you need to complete and grab a box (or suitcase) and begin throwing in items you want to bring as you think of them.
Have a great trip! :wizard:

CBR is Great! Pool is neat and the food court is really nice. I think you will have a great time.
I too am starting my pre trip jitters, but I know it will be OK when I get there. :thumbsup2

We are going June 2-8 :cool1:, and I first, chose CBR, then POR, then back to CBR. We stayed at POFQ 3 years ago, and I thought CBR might be a nice change of pace. I have an 18 yr old DD and 13 yr old DS. Sometimes it is hard to keep them entertained - I hope the pool keeps my son happy :headache:.

I have DS age 20 who is not going but he always hangs out with his D sister at the pool.I bet your older kids will enjoy it,I know my son would if he were going.I mean I am going to enjoy the pool!

Not just you! And I had almost the same thing--someone stole our Disney Visa CC number and I found out just a few days before we left for a WDW/Disney Cruise trip! I was totally freaked out but the overnighted me a new card and everything was just fine-- I managed to spend plenty of money! :teeth:
I am trying not to plan my upcoming trip but my brain just can't stop trying to figure out which park/which day, EMH or no EMH, what to ride first. . . I will resist until a few weeks before we go and then I will have to make some notes or I will go off my rocker!
