Well it's not a thing so much as a feeling, as in "I shkeev gross things" or "seeing someone throw up shkeevs me"

Of course there may be an official spelling of it, but I don't know. :)

You go to a shkeeves or a whatchamadoogits specialst. But you can't go to a shkeeves specialist and tell him/her you have the whatchamadoogits or they'll charge you triple, and vice versa. You must be be 100% certain you have one or the other or you'll be in deep gaga.

When you have them, you know, definately. But, sometimes you don't want to tell others. It's highly contagious. Pretty soon everyone has the heebie jeebies, and no one is getting anything done. When I have them, I'm usually standing on a chair or running real fast. I have a stalker mouse, you know. They are heebie jeebie carriers.

As a child, someone once told me to stay out of a particular tool shed because there was a wasp nest in there and that the wasps would sting the living daylights out of me. To this day, I don't know what the living daylights are, but I sure as heck don't want them stung out of me, so I avoid wasp nests in tool sheds.

Just posting this gives me the heabie jeabies.

Although I've never had them, I've had friends who've had the "heabie jeabies" when they've been scared. I have had the "living daylight" scared out of me on occasion, but I've never heard of the others. I've never heard of "Googlie Mooglie" either, however I have head of the "Great Googamooga" as in one of the best Temptations songs ever:
