DURING RECENT STAY AT ALL STAR MUSIC W/ FAMILY, CHEERLEADERS WERE PRACTICING OUTSIDE MY ROOM FOR HOURS(STARTED AT 130AM) AND NUMEROUS CALL TO THE FRONT DESK , MOST OF WHICH WERE UNANSWERED AFTER OUR INITIAL COMPLAINT DIDNT HELP FOR AT LEAST OVER 3 HOURS. I SWORE I WOULD NEVER STAY IN THAT CHEAP HOTEL AGAIN. THE GUESTS AND THE CAST MEMBERS IN CHARGE AT THAT TIME AT THE FRONT DESK WERE TERRIBLE.
I RECENTLY BOUGHT A DVC MEMBERSHIP THROUGH THE TIMESHARE STORE AT A SAVINGS OF OVER 2,500.00 AS COMPARED TO BUYING FROM DISNEY.....DONT GO TO ALL STAR RESORTS......

Similar situation happened to us in dec2001 - we were at ASmu and pop werner kids were there much to our uneducated suprise. It was awful - anyways thats when we bought into DVC and since then are now thankful to pop werner for making our stay soo lousy that in a way they are now responsible for all our future wonderful vacations at DVC resort;)

Never stayed at AS before DVC, and certainly don't plan to ever anyway!

:( I ama sorry you had a bad experience there. I have stayed at the All Stars solo numerous time with cheerleaders, pop warner and the Brazil tour groups and never had that problem. They ty to keep the groups in the back and rest of us at the front. I would suggest you write Disney with dates and times so they can address the problem.

If a group of people started shouting at 1:30 am and continued for hours anywhere else in the country, the phones in the local police/sherrif's office would light up like a Christmas tree. I've often wondered why guests don't call the police when their complaints to the front desk go unheeded.

Do city/county police serve WDW or does Disney have its own, private force?

hmmmm....cheerleading practice at 1:30 in the morning....I am quite sure you ran to your balcony filled with spirit and shouted...GO TEAM!!!!!!....I have heard of strange coaching techniques, but what does one possibly gain from practicing in your sleep.....I must also say that if I had to stay at pop century, you may actually here me screaming in the middle of the night as i realize how truly tacky this design is.

Due to scheduling circumstances, we stayed at the All Stars last trip for one night because our flight got in just before midnight and I didn't want to use points for that. We generally like to stay at a non-DVC resort for a night or two at the start of each trip, just to try them out and experience other locations. However, bottom line is.....never, ever again at the All Stars. I would sooner stay at the airport hotel than the All Stars.

We had a great experience staying at All Star Movies in 1999 and I would stay there again in a heartbeat if we needed to. The hotels are more than adequate, very affordable, and were very quiet in our experience. Sorry others had a different experience.

With all due respect, this really has nothing to do with the topic of this board, DVC, and could easily go astray.

I'm going to close it off.
