Are you kidding me I'm so freaked it's not even funny! Sleep? what's that?! Between that giving me a heart attack and this job situation I SWEAR I'm heading for a nervous breakdown!

*I was so stressed out worrying that I was making the right decision on turning down a job offer last night that I couldn't sleep. Then I come home to another job offer......but it has it's own set of challenges and now this centipede. I SWEAR it just pushed me over the edge.* OK DEEP BREATH!

And please I'm truly not ungrateful about the job offers...but I went almost a year without a good one. Worked in a job that I hated and NOW .......that job I hated has turned into something sort of fun and enjoyable........and NOW the offers come in!

YUCK! YUCK! YUCK! I hate those things! They are the creepiest, nastiest things, and they are lightning quick!! It's about the only insect in the world that will make me scream or lose sleep if it's in the house. I get them in my garage :rolleyes: and every once in awhile, if we bring a box from the garage into the house, no close inspection in the world seems to reveal the fact that there's one hiding in the box and sooner or later I will find it racing across my kitchen floor.

<font color=navy>That's a potato bug (I forget the real name), and they're about 3 inches long. The house we used to live in didn't have a rubber thingy at the bottom of the back door, so we had one come in twice, and I was barefoot, walking in our kitchen when I saw it on the floor.... ugh ugh ugh -- and they're too big to squish (another ugh), so I got the broom and opened the door, and swept it outside - hard.

Imagine working in the garden turning the dirt with a little hand shovel & having this come up... ugh ugh ugh.... :eek:

Yep! Couldn't vacuum it cause I'd have had to run downstairs to get the vacuum .... AND God forbid if I'd come back up and couldn't find the thing. There would have been NO sleeping for sure!

LOL John came home mid-nervous breakdown and poured me a glass of wine. Sure enough an hour later I was fast asleep! God bless the man!!!!!! :D

MJ ......I don't think I could take those bugs! I'd freak big time. Why am I such a wuss with these things?! Blood, guts, snakes, worms ......NO PROBLEM. Bugs........forget it! And I want to move to Florida...........
