I have a different mechanic, and I want to compare what other people have paid for these repairs.
please share.:D
My car needs a timing belt right now, and my DH's car needs a water pump. I don't know the cost for the water pump but I've seen quotes from $200-250 on the timing belt. Ouch. Good luck!

Thermostats are cheap, water pump can run you $200 to $300,
timing belt I don't know, just that it is pricy.

What kind of car? On a domestic vehicle probably around $300 to $400. Depends on what the mechanic charges per hour for labor. I'm lucky, my DH is a mechanic.
