I was informed today that I have to go to a conference at Coronado Springs in November. As you can imagine, this broke my heart! All expenses paid, free tickets, meal expenses covered, even gas reimbursement. How did I get so lucky?? Anyway, it will be my first time at the parks without kids in four trips (six years). Any can't miss adult only rides/events/drinks you can recommend? :cool1:

You are very much more fortunate that I am. My conference is at the Convention Center. I am staying at the AS Music at way below perdiem. I just don't know how I will get along all week by myself. :rolleyes1

As a solo adult, you should be able to marathon-ride Expedition Everest. When I was last in the parks, the singles line is faster than the FastPass line. Test Track also has a very fast single riders line.
If you like German food, beer, and have a tolerance for Oompa music, I'd suggest making a reservation for Biergarten. You'll be seated with other groups, who are usually quite friendly. And you can enjoy a nice 1 litre (32 oz?) beer, or a flight of little beers (4 x 8 oz?). See http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=29487268. German Riesling wines are also very good. (Sommerfest only serves 12 oz beers, and only two of the four varieties served at Biergarten.)
France does wine tasting, which I find challenging with my toddler hanging on my legs. I'm looking forward to trying it again without kids in October.
