AP discount at FW Campground?

I have a question about the discount Annual Passholders get when reserving a campsite at FW. We were planning to buy our APs when we arrive. And I understand that AP get a discount on campsites at FW. Will we get a discount on the spot, when we check in, if buying our APs during the same stay? Or how exactly should that work?

When you call to make your ressies at FW, tell them you have an annual pass. That will get you the AP rate. You will need to have the AP in hand when you check in though. You can always buy the vouchers at the Disney Store. When you get to FW, park your car in the front and take the internal bus to the marina and the boat over to MK to have the voucher exchanged for the actual pass.:p Hope this helps!!

What kind of campsite did you get? I am in a preferred site and requested to be near the water, either loop 100 or 200. MY DH and DS want to try to get some fishing in on Sunday since that is the "free day" I built in to the schedule!
