It's The Weekend...Day #2.

Raining here today, so no more playing in the garden :( Yesterday my DS21 helped me all day to work in the yard :lovestruc We hardly ever get to spend time together, and we had some nice talks while playing in the dirt.

It's good it's raining though, I have to work in the "Big E" from DS18's school. It needs to be ready for tomorrow... it's a scrapbook kind of project that is going to be hung in the senior hall. Pics and stuffs from the years at the school.

My list for today:

Good Morning!

Very gloomy here, but the rain appears to be south of Albany, at least for the moment.

Thinking maybe pool, but then again, maybe not.
Or maybe ACM & Mikes to see what's new - but then again, better save my money for CK
Steak salad for lunch.
dunno what for supper. I'm sick of cooking.

Happy day, all!

Morning Deb
glad you got time to spend with DS and what better than playing in the dirt.

My day yesterday didn't go as planned. after al the turkey stuff I spent the day cleanning the front porch all 36' of it. all that is left of it is the last 6 feet where the toy barn is. Today the boys and tom will be moving it to the actual barn. They are big enough to go down there for the tonka trucks if they want them.

so today is syrup canning day and I have to finish the porch and start on the house.

Other than that there is nothing exciting going on.

Have a wonderful day. Stay safe if you're in th south. The storms missed all of tom's family is Yazoo City thank god. 1 of them by only a couple of miles, the church they were showing last night We drive by at least 2 times a day while visiting them all. His cousin's husband parents house ( they have passed on) was destroyed. We don't know if the house was occupied or not.

It's very rumbly outside with lots of rain and wind. MIL and SIL were supposed to come up and visit today, but they called and said with the weather they'll postpone the trip. So, we have no plans for today. I think we'll stay in and have a family day of playing board games and watching movies.

Have a great day everyone!

Had rain/storm wake me about 6am...but nothing now.... Awaiting PJ to call to come home from sleepover after prom!!! She reported they had a fabulous time..and that she couldn't wait to tell me what was said about her dress by 5 of her guy friends... I think one is kicking himself for not asking her!!! Too bad my little friend...
When we were taking photos of the girls... one of the Grandpas there said this is the best way to go to prom... A mom asked why... He said "cause I don't have to load my gun and wait for the call from any of my granddaughters tonight!"... It's nice to have families that consider the granddaughter's friends; his own granddaughters!!!!!

Pics are ready at Walgreen for pick up. Took so much longer to find all the pics than I had hoped. Anyone use an online pic storage site that they like?

Have to get my base on the "Big E". I'm going with all black patterns with black ribbon like a crazy quilt. Not much is going to show, because I think I ordered like 25 pics of DS18 thru high school for this thing...

Nancy - That's so great that she had a good time - and so cute about the grandfather. :goodvibes

Deb - One more week until Vegas!!!

This morning was sort of a bust - I was supposed to get up at 8 am to go to Lou's - he said we could hang out for a couple hours if I was there by 10 am... but when my alarm went off, I couldn't remember why I was supposed to get up at 8 am on Sunday... so I went back to sleep.

Oops.

Now we're meeting up on a walk so he can pay me back for his plane ticket (thus giving me money for CKC... hahaha).

My day looks something like this:
-Up
-Breakfast
-Read
-Get ready
-Walk to meet Lou (don't forget to bring him lemon bars!)
-Walk home
-Work on book for school
-Read Mark Twain speech and write two page paper on it.
-Sleep

Happy birthday Max. teenagerhood is still a year off in this house although the attitude has already arrived.

today was interrupted by Star joining us so I''ll be house cleaning and syrup has moved to husbands list since it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Linda I don't accomplish much on the lists but I sure do alot at the end of the day.
2 more calves and this process will be over.
My house is still a pit but the sink is clean does that count?
