Hello,
Could anyone please tell me whether Medieval Times or Pirates Dinner Adventure are within easy walking distance of Knotts Berry Farm? I'm trying to decide whether or not to add this to the end of a day (a weekday) at Knotts in mid-August - I see that Knotts is open until 10 p.m. on the likely day that we would go, and the dinner adventures start at 7 p.m. We should be there at opening time for Knotts, but I also don't want to cut the time there short. We could possibly go to one of the dinners on another day. I would appreciate any information/suggestions. Thank you!

Don't know about Pirate's as I've never been, but Medieval Times is "technically" walking distance. I say "technically" because it's a semi-long, rather unpleasant walk. The area around Knott's isn't like the area around Disneyland; people complain that they lose the "magic" when they walk onto Harbor Blvd. from the Park, but at least there are always lots of other Park guests walking to/from their lodging/the Park. It feels "safe". (Then again, I grew up in Los Angeles, so what feels "safe" to me could very well seem "scary" to others ) The area around Knott's is, well, for lack of a better term, kind of sketchy. I've done the walk before, and if I had it to do over again, I'd have taken a cab.

I don't think that stretch of Beach Blvd is so bad, but it should be easy to get a taxi at the Knott's entrance, and at the end of your theme park day that walk will seem uphill both ways.

It would be a cheap cabride - but a long walk. I know because the Starbucks is right there, I drove. :)

Thank you, everyone! We will plan to take a taxi if we go to Medieval Times or the Pirates Adventure.

We walked to Pirates back in '08 from the Knott's Berry Farm hotel. I think it took us about 20 minutes. If I recall correctly, Medieval is closer. I didn't find the area that bad.
