Non DVC member

Hi, I am not a member, but am interested in renting points in August. What is the best way to go about doing this? Also, should I do this, or just book a regular disney vacation through a travel agent?

You can go over to the Rent And Trade Board and take a look at the listing of points that are available by DVC members.

You can also just book a DVC resort the same as any other WDW hotel. There may be more limited availablity.

Before I became a member I decided to try out Old Key West. I tried renting on my own and could not get a room. Probably just bad timing. However, a certain number of room (4%) I believe are rented out by Disney to non members. I was able to get a room through American Airlines Vacations when I was unable to get one on my own. Try this out Disney must reserve some rooms for organizations such as American, Good luck!
