It's starting to look like the winds may be shifting towards Kong closing sooner than later. It could be a soon as Labor Day being the last day open.

Before anyone gets their feathers in a ruffle, remember there hasn't been an official release yet. Dates are always subject to change, especially when they haven't actually given one out. It should be settled for sure in the next few days.

If you have an urge to see the monkey one last time, be ready for a quick trip.

Remember, not too many people were happy when Mr. Toad's Wild Ride went.

I will videotape it. I don't think they allowed it in the past, but I hope that since Kong will be closing they will relax those rules.

does that mean we could possibly learn what the replacement will be sooner rather than later?

i still think its either austin powers or the mummy.

Whats so amazing on Kong? The drops well they might as well not have them, the story line, predictible. The ride? short. Technology?- For the time-High for now pointless.

If you get into to theming Kong's a great ride. Although I am sad to see it go, I have gotten my fill of it over the years and am more excited about what's to come. I'm currently taking many pictures of what I can.

IF you were a wimp like me and found a ride
at Universal that thrilled you, you'd be sad too.
Seriously, I do NOT do many rides at Universal
but that one I LOVE and just go our 10 yr.
old on the ride. OH, well, if you see someone
this coming Monday, with green ribbon on her
backpack, continually riding King Kong, say
hi to Lucy.
