*May Pen Pal Letter-Sent/Recieved*

Hope everyone is enjoying the Spring season. It is nice to be able to stay outdoors longer since the sun does not set as early, my kids enjoy having picnics outside, and summer is already at the ending of next month. :teacher: Time really does fly.

Please remember to post here once you have sent out your letter, and as soon as you receive them. If you will be away during the swap period, please let me know. If I am not able to get in touch with you, after contacting you, and there is no response...you may be dropped from this exchange. Communication is important.

May's Topic of the Month is-
You will be the tag fairy, and come up with a tag for your pen pal. For those of you who are not sure what the tag fairy is, he/she is the clever one who puts the colorful tags under your user name. He/she roams around on the DIS board, and reads the different posts that you post, then turns them into fun, cleaver, or some other tag, or one letter word. Sometimes, he or she even leaves a picture onto your tag. For the tag for your pen pal, you can base it upon something you had learned about them, look back at their posts on the board, and come up with something....it is your choice. It can be something clever, or something that you just come up with-just use your imagination, and have fun with it.


As for the Twist of the month which is optional. This month, we will take you back to your childhood. Do you remember reading the Sunday comics, or even the daily ones in the newspaper. You are to clip out one of your favorite comic strips, and send it with your letter. If you do not have a newspaper, feel free to find a comic clipping/art online, and print it out.

***Just as a note for June, and July's twists of the month...it will include buying your pen pal(s) something. Not saying what it is right now, but just letting everyone know so they can fit it into their budget, or as a heads up.

The comics I rec'd included: The Family Circus, Crankshaft, Dennis the Menace, Blondie and Snuffy Smith. All fun to read! Hi everyone. As an incentive to get those letters out, I am going to give out June's Topic of the Month, and Twist of the Month early. But only to those that qualify.*Please keep this a secret so that this is something people who qualify can look forward to*.

You qualify if-
-You have sent out your letter, and it has been reported as being received.

If so, you may send me a pm, and I will get you the info. for next month.


For the rest of you....once you have sent out your letters, and it has been received, you also qualify, so send me a pm once your letter has been reported on the board as being received.


I will announce the Topic of the Month, and Twist of the Month once all of the letters for May have been received, so if you do not qualify for the incentive, no problem.
