Rain at Sea world?

Hello!

I would just like to know if anyone has ever gone to Sea World on a rainy day? Do they close the park if there's a chance of rain? Do the shows continue? My husband and I will be going soon and I heard it might rain on the day of Sea World. thanks!

I would just like to know if anyone has ever gone to Sea World on a rainy day? Do they close the park if there's a chance of rain? Do the shows continue? My husband and I will be going soon and I heard it might rain on the day of Sea World. thanks! SW does not close if it's raining. The only time the shows are cancelled is when there is thunder/lightning in the area in which case the rides are closed too.

It rained for a good part of the day on Sunday, but we had to stay at SW all day because we had a tour in the morning and another one in the late afternoon. We wore shorts, rain ponchos and water shoes and did a lot of indoor stuff (saw the shows during drizzle since the seating is under cover and light rain doesn't impact the shows much). Only bad part was an hour's downpour when we just sheltered under cover.

We were there too! We put our ponchos on and just continued touring. We saw the Shamu show in the pouring rain (we were covered) and then we went to the Pets Ahoy show and then the Dolphin nursery! At that point we had pretty much done the whole park (we were there at opening).
