verandah question

Help!!! I have been reading about the verandah problems one cruiser had. He was talking about his cruise and was disappointed about it. We are booked for the Dec. 27, 2003 cruise. We booked a category 7 stateroom. Our stateroom number listed on our confirmation letter is 7622.
With all of the postings I have read, I'm a little confused. We wanted a stateroom with a navigator's verandah. Hopefully, that is what we got. Can anyone tell me about this particular room, what is it like, is it a navigator's verandah, and what is the view like? Thanks.

Yes, you have the first cabin that is a Cat 7 Navigator's Veranda on the Starboard side of Deck 7.

It's usually a nice and quiet location, towards the end of a dead-end hallway where foot traffic should be minimal, yet not too far from the aft elevators and stairway.
