HH 2 bedroom @ 7 months?

I've read that there are more 2br's at hh than anything else. Just wondering how successful people have been reserving them june-august at 7 months. Thanks for the help.

There are a total of 76 dedicated 2BR's at HH. Most are declared into inventory- but some are still available for cash ressies.

There are 21 Studios, 21 1BR's and 5 GV's.

The challenge with HH reservations in June, July and Aug is that is the time when most want to be there. As long as 76 HH owners did not use their 11 month priority, there could likely be something available at 7 months. Since cancellations do happen, if you don't find something at first, call back. Last year I called at about 6 1/2 months out and inquired about availabilty. Nothing was available for the several dates I asked for. Then I told the MS agent that I teach, and I would take any size unit available during June or July. She found me a 2BR for the last week of July. I think I was really lucky, but I also think if you can be pretty flexible with your dates, you may be lucky too.

On November 23, 2000, at the 7 month window, I called and booked a 2 bedroom villa at Disney's Hilton Head Resort arriveing Sunday June 17, 2001 (Father's Day) , spending 5 nights, and departing on Friday morning June 22, 2001. Total cost 165 points. I own at Disney's Boardwalk Villas.

The first day of our 7 months out, I called in order to get a 2 bedroom unit at HH for the end of July. I had to call daily until I had the 7 days that we wanted there. We had the added benefit that we were called around Christmas, therefore, reservations were closed and I was able to book a couple nights at a time. We will be there the end of July --- looking forward to it. I had been told that the 2 bedrooms are hard to come by.

Two years ago we booked a 2 bedroom as well as a studio in November for a June arrival. Good luck you'll love it. Oh bythe way the girl told me when I called that the further into the summer you want the harder it is to get.

we generally go tp HH in April for school break but last year had to cancel in the 30 day window my mom was very sick and passed away in in 24 days. Come june I really want to get away so I kept calling within the 30 days allow and was able to snag a two bedroom for 4 nights and a one bedroom for two nights. My brother and his family joined us in the 2 bedroom and we recoved from their visit in the one bedroom for a few days before heading home. So keep on calling you never know when something opens up.

I have always gotten a 2 br at 7 mos and also a 1 br at 7 mos (for june and august) except this year. i wanted a 2 br for aug. 5 and had to take a 1 br. i am waitlisted for a 2 br. I was really surprised since there are less 1 brs. there. I bet there is someone on the waitlist for a 1 br that i could swap with; this will be my first experience on this list so i'm anxious to see how it works.donna
