a question about school

i know school is a bad word so far but we need SOME topics and it's all I can think of! :(

so what is your school known for? or what is speical about your school?

well we are a blue ribbon school now(it means we are one of the best schools in the country and what is SOOO awesome about it is CHS is supposedly the "best school" but yet we beat them in SOOO much stuff! lol)
we got 4th place in the Lone Star Cup(what they do is take your academics and your sports and give you points) and that is a sate thing! so we are happy about that

and then most important!! lol :p
Our baseball team is state champions and national champions!! YAY!
everyone loves our baseball team...hehe!

NYU is supposedly the #1 pot-smoking school in the country. Woohoo. :rolleyes: Thankfully I'll be living in substance-free housing.

NC State is known for its bricks and being a school for farmers.

Hmmm... Countryside is known for it's soccer program, for being full of Preps (they call it Countryclub High), and for a really good Television Production Program. Our TV program is #1 in the county. Ummm... now we're known because our school had the highest passing rate in the County and somewhere around 5th in the state for the AP U.S. History exam. Our Softball and volleyball teams (Girls have to do everything around here ;) ) were State Champions last year, I think.

Jules our school is also a blue ribbon school. Our high school and the 2 middle schools are. Our district is known for being one of the best on Long Island. I dont know too much about the sports teams though.

Everyones in AP/IB classes (I think we're either the only school or one of two schools on Long Island that have the IB program). And the classes are challenging.

Rosie ODonnell graduated from my school. Some winner from Big Brother came from my town. Uhm...lol what can I say, it's Commack, where there are more mustangs in the school parking lot than people (I stole that form someones profile).

We're known for having year round construction going on in the school, starting weeks late, and having no ceiling tiles. GHETTO FABULOUS ALL THE WAY

we have pretty good acedemics and our girls v bball team were regional champs and won 20 games in a row. We are also know that when a coach makes an offer, we usually dont refuse! The bball coach said if they won the next 10 games(they had just lost 2), then she would dye her hair our school colors. well 10 games later it was teal & orange baby!!! we also have a great V footabll team. i think they were regional champs but i think they lost in the finals at state. we are also know for having the biggest jerks around!!! oh and prob the most firealarms pulled in one day, i think it might have been somewhere between 5 & 7. i lost count. oh we also have an awesome girls track team and girls crosscountry. as someone said earlier, girls have to do everything dont we? we xcountry won state and regionals & smac, track won regionals & smac. i think thats it though.

Well my school is known for being one of the oldest schools in California.... ooooohhh a little bit over 100 years old. so HA!

Well you see.....B.C has a crappy premiere so the our school which is totally awesome....is going to be totally wrecked once we get back...our loser premiere cut our budget by so much that we lost a lot of awesome teachers, our classes are getting bigger, no more computers or anything to do with them can be purchased, and all this other stuff including the possibility that our drama program will be cut...let me add the my school is known for its productions and I love being in them so it is going to lick. We went from being one of the best schools out there to not at all....not only that but our vice principal who was so cool got transfered and my intermediate school principal in coming in his place....oh but our school wins of lot of basketball stuff....and other things like that!

well my school is known for our sports. our best is our girls basketball. they had been to the state tourney 7 straight years.

My School is full pf Preps and jocks and Musicisions! The band is always yelled at cause we are away when there are dances so they are always cancled. And then there is a big show called Rock and Roll which is people singing alot of oldies! Our school is like over 30 years old so it is falling apart which means that my school has construction all year round!
