Thank Goodness for DVC!

I don't know which other boards you all check, but I check the resorts board occasionally to see comments about BWV (we own but aren't going until June). Things over there have been crazy this week with discount rates for certain states, and people getting upset about not getting deals. Isn't it great that there is one thing we DON'T have to worry about--getting the best rate? :)

We do have discount rates/higher rates really in the DVC also. It is broken out by seasons. We just know in advance where the WDW resort guests have to act like Jr. Indiana Jones searching out the best rates in the Disney honeycomb that is resort discounts. So in that way DVC is better. But I still can't help but feel for the way people have to hunt down the best rates. The game gets a little old but with the prices what else are the guests (Indys) to do?

Robin, I am VERY thankful for DVC! I couldn't IMAGINE having to call all the time for deals and discounts. I like to just call ONCE and that's it, done! :) (OK, except when I needed a GV I had to call every day at the 11 month window, but that's an exception to the rule!
