I'm going to be getting me a camera sometime this summer so I'll have it in the fall while I'm working at Disney. I'm not going to be able to get an expensive camera. But here is the one I'm looking at...would this camera be ok for me to learn with? I want to take on photography as a hobby.

Not sure how it perfroms, but at least you have all the manual controls that are important to learn in this hobby (aperture & shutter priority, iso control, etc...). Get those down, and you'll be ready for any situation. You can also transfer that knowledge to any camera you upgrade to in the future. So I say good purchase. Don't forget to share your work with us. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the quick response. Are those controls just things I have to play around with to fully learn or are there some helpful tips I could be on the look out for once I get the camera?
