Im really not bad with the sweets - ice cream, cake, etc. But my downfall is definately crackers - cheezits, choc graham crackers, etc.
What can I replace them with? Do I have to get healthy and eat veggies and fruits?
I really need to loose 40lbs (well maybe 25) before my DH even thinks I will step foot on a nude beach in St Marten! lol

Yes, quit complaining and eat your fruits and veggies. (Did I sound like your mother? I know I sounded like mine. ;) ) I always eat baby carrots, grapes and multi-grain saltines for snacks. I know there not as yummy as cheez-its, but they keep the weight off.

Groosch imgoingtodisney....
I'm afraid the crackers have to go...der yer know that most of 'em are pretty high in fat, sodium and carbohydrates? Not the 'staples' of a diet with which yer likely to drop 25-40 pounds.
The old standbys do work...even if yer have ter acquire a taste fer 'em....celery, cucumber sticks, carrot sticks....or better yet...when yer feel the urge to snack....go take a walk!
Best of luck in yer quest! :)

Crackers not only have a lot of fat, but they also usually have partially hydrogenated oils. You'll be a lot healthier if you give them up. If you get a carb-craving every once in a while, try substituting whole grain bread or pita bread.

Can you stand rice cakes? Quaker makes some yummy flavors.
What about peeled baby carrots? They make a quick and easy snack. You could spice up some plain low-fat yogurt to make a dip for them. I'll see if I can find you a recipe.

Whenever I try and lose a few pounds, I give up snacking on anything but fruit (usually melon) or carrot sticks. I eat the same as I always would at mealtime, just don't snack on anything fattening.
And I can't stress enough how good water is for losing weight. Not to mention good for the body. I drrink about a gallon a day, myself.
