What a cool, beautiful night it was last night.

We slept with the windows open on freshly washed sheets. Ah! It felt so good.

It was a great night last night. Those wonderful breezes and waking up in the morning to a golden sunshine day and seeing that it's only in the 70s in our house (as opposed to the upper 80s). Ah....

I agree Janice!;) Sometimes we have to look at the simpler things in life and that was one of them.......so nice to have a breeze coming through your window!:)

It's actually cooler today. Very nice. I just got in from collecting rose petals and I didn't even feel hot.

I'm with you on the clean sheets, JJ, although it is a tad too cold for me! I like hot humid weather in August.

I was sitting in the family room with the windows open yesterday and feeling the breeze thought, could this day be any more perfect? :)

I sat out on my deck last night, just after a good rain (which is very rare here in dry Colorado this summer). The smells were almost intoxicating (although I've never been intoxicated, so I'm just guessing). I finished a book and then just listened. What an evening. (I was also avoiding my in-house mouse; I think he's stalking me:earseek:

yes, a stalker mouse. I'm sure I saw him when I was at Burger King this morning. He watches me through the walls. Did you know mice have x-ray vision? :earseek:

Please send those cool temps down here. I am so ready for Fall. I love the smell of Fall. The air isn't humid and everything just seems so crisp and clean.
