Just FYI, a "secret porthole room" is one of a very few rooms that has a porthole with an "obstructed" view, ie a lifeboat hanging outside the window. Disney charges inside room prices for these rooms. If I recall correctly, there are only 4 rooms like this on the Wonder, so if you get one, you get a room with light for an inside price. You have to know exactly which room to ask for as Disney denies their existence! Good job IGTD!

The rooms are 5020, 5022, 5024, 5520, 5522, and 5524. They are wonderful. They are priced like a category 10(deluxe inside stateroom), but are really a cat 9 with very little obstruction. We recently stayed in 5522 on the Wonder and it was awesome.

I congratulated you this AM on the cruise board --- but this one deseres ANOTHER!!!

The secret porthole rooms are on DCL. They are priced as category#10 INSIDE staterooms and have a slightly obstructed view for FREE!!!! There are only 6 of these rooms on the ships. The popularity of these rooms on the cruise board have made them not so secret anymore and they are often hard to come by. I have pics of them on my website:

DCL does not advertise them as porthole rooms or even as slightly obstructed porthole rooms. They are sold as INSIDE NON VIEW staterooms ---- but we know the 'secret porthole' does exist -- thanks to the DIS Boards.

How come they are a secret if everyone (but me ) knows about them?
