Disneyland IS a work of love!

Hey there, hi there, ho there…………….you really are as :welcome: as can be. :teeth: I have been tossing the idea of a pre-trippie that will cocoon into a full trip report and finally decided to take the plunge. We have been going to Disneyland since the kids were wee infants (longer for DH and me).

Last October we took a VERY spur of the moment trip to Disneyland/DCA. DH suggested we add Disneyland on to the tail end of a trip we took to AZ to visit friends. Who in their right Disney lovin’ mind would say no to that? Not I! We own DVC at SSR in WDW :cloud9: and DH literally mentioned this like 3 weeks before heading to AZ so of course there wasn’t availability at the GCV so we stayed at the Anaheim Hilton Garden Inn. :scared: Never again. Having said that we bought 3 days park hoppers and upgraded one magical evening post fireworks. pixiedust: It was one of those magical moments when all is right with the world: warm fall breeze, amazing fireworks, and bam- DH agrees to APs. :woohoo: Here are some pics from that trip:

Ears!!!!

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a292/jenmikesheets/AZsney%202009/IMG_2166.jpg

I could go on and on with the photos. Really.

The cast includes myself, DH, DD (13), DD (11), DS (8), and DD (13)'s BFF, along with 2 sets of friends and their children- so at times there will be 15 of us. We are caravanning with one set of friends and the other are our AZ friends who will meet us there.

The plan for our family: GCV 2 bedroom from June 13-June 18, 2010. :lovestruc

Next up: the tentative itineray and how in the heck can I plan without posted hours??? :surfweb:

:goodvibes Yay Glenn! There is not nearly the planning for Disneyland like there is WDW but hopefully enough to keep reading. The registration desk is by the real Tiki Room. ;)

Cool. We are leaving by like 4 that day unless I can finagle another night but the GCV are 80 points for a 2 bedroom :faint: on the weekends and I am NOT spending that. Michael (DH for those who don't know) doesn't want to move all of our stuff after packing it all up for an addditional night but I haven't given up hope. There should be Magic Morning that day which means the park will open at 8 am. :woohoo: I am super excited to finally be meeting you- so is Jenna.

And if you cannot get access, we could chill in DTD for lunch or something. :)

On the road again........................

We have always driven/drove to Disneyland. Always. Always. I hate to fly. Hate it. With 6 of us this trip and wanting to have our vehicle (Ford Expedition) driving is a must. I love the whole process; the snacks, movies, Disney music, and In n Out once we hit Vegas. Plus our friends are driving to Utah from PA for 2days before heading to Anaheim. :grouphug: Belive it or not we met our friends right here on the DIS. Well I really met Jenna on Mouseplanet but we decided to meet meet after posting lots here in the WDW section. And imagine this will be our 3rd Disney vacation together and the 2nd time they've come to Utah to visit. Funnest people ever!

Currently we have reservations for 3 different places for 6/12 depending on what we ultimately decide. Originally we were planning on driving from Utah to Mesquite, Nevada on 6/12, staying the night, and hitting the road crack-**** early the morning of 6/13 and heading to Disneyland plannign to be to the parks by 3 pm. Through days of endless searching, I have come to realize that June 13-18 will be uber busy. Between WoC, grad nights, and no AP block out dates 6/14 and 6/15, we are going to need those extra 8 hours on 6/13 for park fun.

For 6/12 I have rooms booked at the Casablanca resort in Mesquite. www.casablancaresort.com Mesquite is like a teeny tiny intsy wintsy Vegas but 100x easier to navigate especially for one night. The Casablanca has a great pool and the rooms are only $99 for a Saturday night. :thumbsup2 Mesquite is about 45 minutes from Vegas. I am keeping this reservation until the 48* in case we decide not to drive straight through from Utah. Utah to Anaheim usually takes us about 11 hours. That's only 5 Disney movies away if one is Mary Poppins.

But for now, the plan is to drive straight through leaving SLC at 7 am and arriving in Anaheim at 7 pm. I am giving an extra hour because we have such a large party.

I have reservations for 6/12 in Anaheim at both the HoJo and the PPH. The PPH is only $50 more per night so I am hoping a better HoJo rate comes out. Right now I am using the 20% off AP rate. I have been dying to try the HoJo's new pool area since they started construction a few years ago. The pics look fabulous and since our Deluxe APs are blocked all Saturdays in June- a good pool is paramount. The plan is to drop the kids and men at whatever hotel (after stuffing ourselves with In n Out) and then Jenna and I will head to the grocery store to stock up for the week at the GCVs.

www.hojoanaheim.com for the HoJo
www.disneyland.com for the PPH

More to come..............................

Everything looks good. I think at only $50 more a night I might be tempted to stay at PHP, it isn't as far to move.

I'm late to the game but am officially here (my first non-Jordan TR to officially join). The irony is, we're always heading from LA to AZ but haven't renewed our APs...while you're coming from AZ to LA......maybe we should house swap?:rotfl2:

P.S. Love the pics..are you doing the Alaska cruise in 2011?

That's what I am thinking too however, we aren't really planning on unpacking much that first night. I will pack a seperate bag with jammies and clothes for the next day. We'll have to drive from either hotel to the GCV regardless to park for the week. :upsidedow I am hoping for a better HoJo rate. :hyper:

:welcome: Good to have you. To house swap, you'd have to come to Utah. In 2011 we are hoping to do a Hanukkah/Chloe's bday/Christmas extravaganza with 16 days in WDW at the THV/SSR. :wizard: We'll see as I have a bat mitzvah to pay for next Feb. ;) Would love to do the cruise but don't see it in the cards.

And Derek, I love that you joined the madness here. I wish I could get my DH to do the same!!!! You have the cutest family too.

Although Disney has not posted their hours, I thought I would share my very tentative itinerary. This is subject to change without notice and based on us driving straight through on 6/12. :confused3

Saturday 6/12:
Leave Utah by 7 am, drive through to Anaheim, check into the HoJo or PPH, drop men and kids, swim, and grocery shop.

Sunday 6/13: DL: 8-mid DCA: 10-10
• Check out of hotel (either PPH or HoJo) and check into GCV, drop luggage and groceries and high tail it to Disneyland for rope drop. They may have MM in which case we'll need to be to Disneyland by 6:30 am.
• Disneyland all day. :cloud9:
• Depending on how the whole WoC is going to work, we may have to run over for a "show ticket" for later that night.
• Ariel's Grotto for dinner at 7:50 party of 11, patio seating. See the method to this madness. :rolleyes1 If the WoC is showing at 9 pm, we will drag the meal to able to see the show. Now if DCA does a preferred dining at AG for WoC they might try to kick us out right before the show. If that's the case then we will do the AG preferred dining.
• Back to Disneyland from 10ish to midnight, love those last 2 hours in the park

Monday 6/14: DL: 8-mid DCA: 10-10
• DCA by 9:15 for rope drop
• DCA all day- Wine Country for dinner
• Disneyland after DCA closes if we can handle it

Tuesday 6/15: DL: (8) 9-mid DCA:10-10
• Disneyland by (6:30 am S.S.) 7:30 for MM at 8 am (7 am)
• Blue Bayou at 11:30 am.
• F! at night if playing Or Fireworks if not showing grad nights.

Wednesday 6/16: DL: 8-9 DCA 10-6 Grad night
• Storyteller’s at 8 am
• DCA for rope drop til about 2:00
• Disneyland for 3:00 parade til close
• Fireworks

Thursday 6/17: DL; (9) 8-9 DCA 10-6 Grad night
• Disneyland by 7:30 (8:30) for (9 am) 8 am opening til about 2ish
• DCA 2:30- close
• Back to Disneyland til closing at 9 pm
• Pack up

Friday 6/18: DL: (9) 8-mid DCA: 10-9
• Disneyland by (8:30) 7:30 for MM at (8 am) 7 am til 10:30
Jordan

• 11 am check out of DVC/pack car
• Possibly seeing Toy Story 3 in DTD or go to Disneyland or DCA til about 3 pm
• Head to Mesquite for the night

Not sure how many mid-afternoon breaks we’ll take due to having such a limited time.

Any and all questions/comments/concerns are welcome. :goodvibes

Initially we wanted to also dine at Carnation Cafe but I cannot find a place to put it. :confused3

rentayenta
04-13-2010, 01:30 PM
Food, glorious food :cloud9:

Even though Disneyland doesn’t have near the culinary choices WDW has, I can still manage to find enough variety and gain a few pounds :lmao: We are planning to dine at the following……………….

Disneyland full service:
• Blue Bayou for lunch

DCA full service:
• Wine Country for dinner
• Ariel’s Grotto (WoC scheming) for dinner

GCH full service:
• Storytellers for breakfast, menu not buffet

Disneyland counter service:
• Bengal BBQ
• Plaza Inn

DCA counter service:
• Award Wieners
• Taste Pilot’s Grill
• Pacific Wharf/Lucky Fortune Cookery

GCH counter service:
• White Water Snacks

Because we will have a full kitchen and prefer to make rope drop, most breakfasts will be in our villa.

My favorite must-do snacks include:
• Dark Chocolate rocky road
• Corn dog
• Gibson Girl ice cream
• Popcorn with an icy cold Coca Cola
• Dole Float
• Churros
• Mickey ice-cream bar
• big pickle
• Bur-r-r-r bank ice cream hot fudge sundae
• Chocolate covered strawberries
• Caramel apples

I don't like posting on the DL thread, they don't allow you to use fun colors for your font. :sad2:

The points for a 2 bedroom villa for Friday/Sat night are 80. :faint: It's only costing me 225 points total for Sun-Thurs night. I can't swallow spending 80 points on one night. We won't arrive til 7 pm and our Deluxe APs are blocked that Saturday so there are 2 more reasons to stay at either the PPH or HoJo. We like the PPH better than the DLH but I am thinking the kids would dig the new HoJo pool too since they will be spending their evening swimming.

Yeah, we're timeshare nuts....with DVC we own at Wilderness Lodge & Vero Beach (I wasn't sure which acronyms folks use I think it's WLR and DVB)...I'm not sure how successful Starwood can be traded for Disney since you have to go through Interval International but we can use Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG for short, i.e., hotel points after conversion from time share points) at the Anaheim Sheraton which I hear from my in-laws is a nice hotel near the DL property or stay at the Sheraton Vistana in Orlando (but is off property). With Starwood, we own in Maui (every other year), Cancun (every other year) and Rancho Mirage (near Palm Springs) (every year). Thus, we've got plenty of maintenance fees to pay off.....:scared1:

We're always open to nanny care for the kids so we may take you up on it :rotfl2: But definitely the resale market has its pros and cons. My co-worker bought an every year unit for $3,000 at our timeshare in Rancho Mirage by Palm Springs and was able to trade it for two weeks at another Westin property in AZ. Thus, her investment will pay itself off in two trips! The downside is that resale units can't be converted into hotel points like ours can since we bought directly from Starwood.

Also we purchased Vero Beach to augment our Wilderness Lodge points. One strategy we used was to bank and borrow points to cover villa stays for family during WDW trips and then used their payment to us to buy additional DVC points. The trick when adding DVC points is to make sure they line up in the same use period otherwise, you can't use all of your points at the same time.:confused3

Good tip on having the same use year. I am thinking along the same lines and the problem is that the maintenance fees for the GCV are very high compared to the others. It might be smarter to do what you did and look into Vero or Hilton Head. My home is SSR, which my husband loves, so even booking at the 7 month with the new points shouldn't be a problem.

You sort of answered another question about charging family/friends. I am on a waitlist for my friend for a GCV Studio for 2 nights in June- she wants to meet us at Disneyland and I don't mind using my points but I am having to borrow for her stay. I will charge her $10 a point if the wait comes through ($340) which seems like a steal and she happily agreed to. She couldn't look at even a regular hotel room at the GVC for $170 a night including tax and resort fee. It feels like a win/win but curious on your thoughts as far as charging.

During our Feb 2010 stay at BLT, we offered our friends Kim & Allan the opportunity to pay us equivalent to what they would book at POR which seemed like a win/win for them and us. But rather than have them pay us cash outright, they paid the cash equivalent for our DDP. In the end, we didn't get top dollar (which was fine because they're friends) but we covered some of our out-of-pocket expenses. My main concern was charging a price that would sour the friendship (no dollar amount is worth that) but we also couldn't give the rooms away for free either. I think we got the GC hotel for $350 or maybe a little less when we booked with a wedding, but definitely not too many deals offered by DL.:confused3

That's a good way to do it and I agree about not wanting to sour any friendships. When she asked about it, I explained how DVC works and we even went online to look at GCH hotel rates and then showed her the Studio layout. She jumped on the chance. I hope it comes through for her.

Wed and Thurs (both DL:8 am-9 pm and DCA: 10-6) are both grad nights and won't be playing WoC but we could go to DTD after Disneyland closes and grab a drink and/or the GCH and grab a drink by the pool?

Binder? Hmmm.. I use to keep all my trip info in a folder and carry it with me. I discovered an awesome site - and it is free! (they only charge for the upgraded level):

http://www.tripit.com/

Some reservations I can just forward to email confirmation (usually hotels and airlines) and it is added automatically. Others, such as activities and dining ressies, I enter myself. Once I have all the info entered, I can send it to anyone who is traveling with me so they know what is going on. It is great when you have a large group or people coming from different areas. They have apps for iPhone, Android & Blackberry - I use the app when I am in the park in case I forget the time of my PS or need the confirmation number for any reason.

Don't know if it would work for you but thought I would share!

It's all your yours! I bought Ridemax too even though I have been a bazillion times. DH thinks I am bonkers but really, what is another $14.95 when you are already spending so much? I like having a solid morning plan and then by lunch its all based around FPs, parade, meals, and shows really.

I am much more OCD in the mornings - especially about collecting FP's - always take a break in the afternoon and slow down a little in the evenings and use all the FP's!

My problem with Ridemax is there is not a MAC version so can't use it - the owner said several years ago he was going to do one but so far, no luck! Oh well...

Not a problem, is she still having seizures? Work is getting ready to lay all of us off. I was hired as part of a group of temp workers and it has been so slow I have had the past 2 weeks off. Family is good. I only have 2 more payments and out trip will be paid off.:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: I pay a set amount every at least every few weeks. I really want to upgrade but I am so close to paying it off I don't want to because once it is paid off I feel like we really will go. We are staying at Pop with the reg dining plan. I want to upgrade to AKL with sv because I know Lexi would love it, but are really going to be in our room enough to enjoy it? I know about the souvies. I think once the trip is paid then I will start buying the Disney gift cards I can get at Walgreens for spending money and for anything else that may come up.

Lexi is 4 right? Honestly I bet she will love Pop even more. It is so Disney and kitschy with the big icons everywhere. Save your money. :thumbsup2 AKL is beautiful and the SV rocks but you are right, how much will you be there? And honestly, the rooms are dark and the animals sleep during the day so unless you plan on being up at sunrise and being there at dusk, it's not worth the extra money which I am guessing is a fair chunk of change.

Yes she is 4 and will turn 5 in Aug. I don't plan on being up at sunrise on my vacation and I am not sure that we would be there that much at dusk either, especially since we will be there in Nov/Dec and dusk will be pretty early. It is almost $3,000 dollars more and that was with a 40% pin code. :scared1:

I really want to rent points next time, however I like that I can book my trip and then make payments with no added interest until it is paid off. I don't know that I can do that if I rent points. I also think that I may get rid of our park hoppers and only add them on if we need them. I also wish Disney would release the hours as I only have a little bit over a month before I can make my adrs. Also only the first 3 days of our trip hours will be released when I have to make them.

I think when you rent you can work out a deal that's good for you and the owner and that includes how you'll pay. I haven't read too much about owners charging any interest either. Plus you skip the resort fees and taxes when you stay DVC. :thumbsup2 Just a thought for next time. :goodvibes

I was trying to make PS for Carnation Cafe and the CM said she couldn't tell me what was open and that I had to choose a time and she would tell me if it was available- kinda like 20 questions only irritating. ;) The lead was great, said I couldn't book more than one table which is lame since I did for Blue Bayou and AG. She asked my name and I told her, no thanks, I didn't want my PS cancelled. She said she wouldn't do that but wanted to know the CM who booked my tables. I told her to never mind and that I will call back. I am not getting anyone in trouble. :hippie: I'm no snitch!

They found a tumor in his leg. It is the size of a tangerine and frankly they are stalling us. The doctor told me he had never seen anything like it so he needed to consult with the radiologist and the orthopedist. This was on Thursday morning, I am sorry but in these five days they had to have heard something. And when I call I get the rude run around, basically the "don't call us, we'll call you." So since Thursday we have waited worrying and just not knowing what is going on. Sorry, I just needed to destress.

I understand that after dealing with patients and their families all day but, I also think a little empathy would go a long way. They had the x-ray right away and the doctor had never seen anything like it. He told myself and my son this and I thought my son was gonna cry. WoC is set to begin June11th!!!! :woohoo: Now if Disney would release the GCV benefits and/or the PS. :hyper:

DH asked what he thought we would spend on this trip. So along with printing off menus last after the kids went to bed, I did a little Disney math. ;) The categories and amounts are as followed:

Fuel: $400 rt from SLC to Anaheim

First night hotel: $115 at the Marriott unless HoJo releases an entertainment rate for 6/12

GCV: $0 paid baybee! pixiedust:

APs: $0 Paid! :woohoo:

Souvenirs: $300. I know myself too well to say $25 per child. :rotfl: Plus we'll have Gabby's BFF with us and she hasn't been in 7 years. How can I not spoil that child? :confused3

Travel food: $200 total including snacks in the car as well as stops.

Groceries: $100

Food in the parks including snacks, TS, CS, and tips: $1300 :faint: I thought it would be less but with Ariel's Grotto, Blue Bayou, Wine Country, and Storyteller's it sure added up.

Dog kennel: $180

Neighbor child watering garden:: $30; $5 per day for 6 days.

Tips for Mousekeeping: $20. They will only clean the villa once during our stay.

Misc. including Ridemax: $100

I asked if there would be a dinner package and she said most likely dessert. :woohoo: I like that better. How much is the F! dessert package? I am guessing it will be similar in price? :confused3

Also if the GCV guests get some sort of show pass perk, then I would go that way fa sho. :teeth:

Dessert would be better! F! is $59/adult and $49/kids 9 and under. I am really hoping for VGC guests to get show passes!! That would be much closer! I was talking to the Dining people and actually broke the news to them!

:lmao: Funny! I bet they loved that! I am praying for show passes too. Not sure I want to shell out $350 :faint: for a 25 minutes water show and a few chocolate covered strawberries. Let me rephrase that, there is no way DH will go for that especially if it's ran like the F! dessert package now- still having to line up to line up to sit and still take the chance of having a big head in front of you. :rolleyes1

HI Rentayenta (Sorry just had to say it/write it once) It's just so clever and I miss NY very much. I have been here reading since you started posting just on the sly. Sorry I'm sneaky. Your budget looks pretty close to what we've been calculating although we calculated gas a bit higher as prices are creeping up. I also can not wait until June Hours are fully posted, and am still trying to decide which day to do what meal as I have more ressies to make! You are being very helpful :goodvibes:hug:. Thank You!

Ah man! They did that post the hours one day at a time thing with our days in March. It was SO annoying. lol

I'll be curious to hear about the WoC dessert seating. It may be our best bet to actually see it when we get back to the parks next. That's a lot of money on dessert if they price it like F! but could totally be worth it. Luckily, I only have to buy for two. hehe

My guess is that it will be outside at Ariel's which is cool because it's a bigger seating area than F! but I cannot see spending that kind of money. It all depends on if GCV guests get first access to show passes.

:lmao: Totally but here is my justification. The first night we won't even unpack and aren't going into the parks. I am looking at it as a means to a neato end. By staying close, we make MM the next morning and have a full Disney day. The last added night I am justifying as we'll be all packed, stay parked at the GCH, cruise over when we are done, grab our vehicle, and jet to the Marriott(?). I am good at packing one bag with overnight stuff and clothes for the next day. :thumbsup2 This is the last trip we'll get out of these passes and the last of Disneyland til probably 2013. :faint: We'll do WDW in december 2011.

::yes:: But even though Disneyland closes at 9, you don't have to leave at 9. You can line up for your last ride at 8:59 and they will let you ride. So think 9:30 by the time that is over. Then you have to exit the park and as long as you are walking in the direction to leave, they don't make you sprint. My guess, and this is pure specualtion, is that they want everyone out asap but don't get antsy until 9:45.

Stovall's is nearly a mile but that isn't that big of a deal. I just think that I like the DLH much more. Our friends we are going with cannot afford it. When I go by myself next year I think I am going to treat myself to stay onsite. Normally alone I will stay cheaper but, my DH actually suggested that I take advantage of AP rates when I go alone.

I was going to go on the Diva's trip but, I have decided that I am going to go with my BFF, so I won't be alone. I so could go alone though, think about it. You can get up in the morning, not have anyone to slow you down. Then when you want to look around there is no one to rush you around. Think of all of the options.

I went alone thinking those same things after reading what terrific times people were having. Didn't turn out that way for me. At all. I know I am in the minority but it made me painfully sad. Everyone is different and for me, part of the joy is sharing Disneyland with my family. DH was never a Disney fan. I think he went twice as a child- he grew up in Nor Cal. I grew up in So Cal about 10-15 minutes away and my father would take me weekly, if not more as a child. Disneyland holds almost all of my childhood memories. pixiedust:

Having said that, I went to So Cal this past March to visit my dearest friend who has suffered some unimaginable losses. I also decided to visit my father who suffered a major stroke almost 4 years ago. After seeing him, I headed straight to Disneyland, alone, for a few hours. I cried my eyes our while strolling on Main St. I must have looked like a total mess but it was very cathartic for me. :goodvibes I had a Dole Float, rode IAWS and POTC, and did some shopping. Best therapy ever. ;)

I probably won't like Disneyland without my family either but, In think for various reasons I need that trip too. My BFF and I have always been like sisters, so it is like going with family.

Oh for sure. My BFF is the closet thing I have to a sister. :goodvibes I meant alone, alone.

Just got bumped via voice mail from our 7:40 PS at AG on 6/13. The CM said "our Princesses would not be available for dining at this time" and I was rescheduled for 2:40. I was given a CM's direct line to call back, spoke with him, and when asked why we were bumped and the Princesses would be unavailable I was told: that the World of Color show is interfering with dinner and the latest seating is 3:40 pm. I guess we won't be doing dinner there.

Maybe we should devote our lives to this to discover the mystery. But, of course it would require more trips to Disneyland. I know this would be a hardship but for science and all that I would be willing to suffer.:rotfl:

Although there are a total of 4 of us posting, I know there are LOTS of lurkers so I will contnue sans shame.

According to Mapquest, the drive from our home to Disneyland will take 10 hours and 47 minutes. Piece of cake in this baybee. We bought the below new-to-us Eddie Baurer Ford Expedition last year. Not happy about the price of fuel going up but this bad boy will keep us comfy:

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a292/jenmikesheets/ford.jpg

Because we have driven from SLC to Disneyland many times, we have learned to make the almost 11 hours enjoyable. Disneyland is only 6 movies away and less if you include Mary Poppins which we do. We also always watch Aladdin and Mulan:

What are movies in the car without travel snacks? The below keep us sane while driving without making us bananas from too much sugar! ;)

There are however 2 fast food places that we are unable to pass up. We have Jack in the Box for lunch as we hit it :lovestruc

And then mother of all mothers for dinner with regard to fast food :cloud9:

We have a Sonic about a mile from my house. Everyday from 2-4 all fountain drinks (including adding vanilla or some other flavor) and most slushie type drinks (even the real fruit ones) are 1/2 price. :woohoo: Our friends who are caravanning with us to Disneyland who are from PA have to go to our Sonic whenever they visit.

To drive is to snack ... love it! I am a huge Jack in the Box fan! Especially their milkshakes with whipped cream and a cherry and love those curly seasoned fries!

I really don't know what to think about Ariel's and WOC because the CM I spoke with when I called back told me that they aren't doing seating for dinner because... the view from the Grotto is not great and that the powers that be don't want the lights from the restaurant to interfere with the show. So I just don't know what to think. :confused3

I was wondering if there were any rides you wouldn't take a five year old with sensory issues on? My friend was telling me Tower of Tower probably should be skipped? What do you think? Are there any others...oh she is 43 1/2 inches so she is able to ride height wise everything but Maliboomer, Indy and can't drive the cars at autotopia.

From everything I've read smaller kids will be able to ride with a parent on the SS swings. I haven't been since I was twelve and DCA wasn't there. I know it's going to be crowded but I figure if we go early to get on the rides and then do the shows late morning/early afternoon then have a nice lunch before we go and have a break we should fair pretty well.

Drama Queen went to our county fair over the weekend and told me "Mom, I am not and I mean not an adrenalin junkie!" :rotfl: I just couldn't help but laugh.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! TIA ;)

Kris

:rotfl2: We all want what we don't have, right?! I can truly say no to any and all fast food except for In n Out and Jack! DH told me though that In n Out bought ground about 6 miles from our home. :faint: Methinks I may find some of my lost 35 lb.

:woohoo: Their curly fries rock!!! Whenever we get to a Jack I always get mega packs of their Secret Sauce so when we go to McDonald's here we order our burgers plain and then use the Jack sauce. :thumbsup2

:confused3 I hear ya. if you are set on AG with Princesses, go for lunch. Same food and a little cheaper. I cannot wait to find out the WoC details!!! :hyper:

Like seizures sensory issues? My middle DD has Benign Rolandic Epilepsy, along with and unrelated to her IGF1, and she rides everything. Maliboomer is gone I believe. She can still ride in the Autopia cars though. :thumbsup2 Indy is the only bummer- it is a fantastic ride. Last October was the first time my whole family could ride it. :cloud9: I think she will be fine on the rides.

That is a good plan. The locals don't show til lunchtime so the morning hours are prime. Ya know, I don't know that we have ever been on the Swings in DCA.

pixiedust: DH caved and agreed to the PPH for our last night if the HoJo Ent rate doesn't come through. After looking at the map that has been posted a ton today, the Anaheim Marriott Suites is just too dang far for that last late late night in the parks.

June 10 hours are out. June 10 is a Thursday but there is no MM that day and it must be a grad night because the hours are reduced. At least we get a little insight into what grad night/non-blocked So Cal AP days look like.
