Two swimmers in the family that are freaking out at the notion of a couple weeks without getting their yards in.

Thanks

I think the Swan does, but you have to be a resort guest to use it, can't stay somewhere else and use it. :)

The Contemporary had a 20x25 meter pool. Not sure if it's still there? Our oldest son was a swimmer through HS. I remember one Dec. vacation when he would swim laps at the quiet pool at the Poly while it was still dark. Just the ducks, my son and me as lifeguard. It is not 25 meters but might be 18-20 yds??? Well, maybe 15-18....

....I thought of the Contemporary too, for our last trip in 2000. In fact, that was one of reasons we stayed there. Turns out, between a stay in 1982 and 2000, they did a really extensive remodel of the pool and lakefront areas. Alas, no more 25 yd lap pool.

Nonetheless, the remodel, has done wonders for the CR. Went there in 1990 for a dinner, and it was starting to feel a bit aged (certainly didn't feel "contemporary" anymore. It was really nice, in 2000 and we were all somewhat surprised by how much we liked the CR overall. Jumped right to the top of our favorites list if you want to be on the monorail. Whenever the remodel was done(early to mid-1990s, I'd guess), they did a great job.

Anyway......any others with pool thoughts? Is there any kind of aquatic facility at the WWoS?

999ghsts is right! My son is a competitive swimmer on a swim team and he got up at 5 AM every morning to do his laps at the CSR pool. Believe it or not there were other people there also swimming laps!!!

I know the Dolphin does. My daughter is a swimmer as well and will be out there every morning at around 5 or so. Well at least that is what she said anyway. I'm betting it's closer to 7:D
