Hey....
I am going with my dad this summer to italy :lovestruc and cannot decide on which tour to take. I am doing a coach tour only because my father will be more comfortable with this option. I have been to Europe before and done both a coach tour (contiki) and done it on my own so this time I'm just glad to be going away with just my dad and no kids. haha....plus it's Italy so !!!
ANYHOW..... I am thinking of booking a Cosmos bus tour but am debating between them and Trafalgar and Albatours ...although Alba does a jaunt to switzerland and I don't like that extra bus time for somewhere I don't need to go this time.

anyone.....anyone.....?.......:confused3

I went on a 7 day Globus tour a few years ago and it was an excellent trip (it was in the U.S. though) so I don't know about Europe?

O.k it's booked!!!
We are going Cosmos...which is Globus really but with a less expensive and tad younger crowd. Not so much hand holding and a bit more time on our own to choose our own adventures.
holy smokes..... 9 days in italy. It doesn't sound like alot of time but we are only doing rome, tuscany and venice so the 3 places that my dad really wants to see. ahhhhhhhh I can't believe this.
Now I need a countdown ticker for august in italy.

I've done both Globus/Cosmos and Trafalgar. Trafalgar was a little nicer and they probably do that area of Europe the best but Cosmos will give you great value. have a great time.

Have an awesome trip. I have done a couple of Italy tours with Trafalgar and Italy is so amazing and beautiful. On my first trip to Rome, we did all the extra tours - saw the Vatican etc - on our second trip, we skipped the tours and just wondered around Rome ourselves - it was incredible. Venice is so fun to just wander around too. I don't know you but I am so excited for you and your dad - what a great memory maker!:banana:
