OF course I had to look the word up to see what it meant before I found this...and I only found it because I wanted to prove him wrong AGAIN! Oh well are we wanting to stick to Parlay or Parley?

Hey everyone! Is it October 2011 yet????:lmao:

I just found out that I am getting a job transfer. It's not a surprise, but it is good to know where and when I am moving. The good news is, I will live about 5 minutes from TF Green airport in Rhode Island. Free parking at my house!

A lot can change in 18 months though, so I won't be finalizing cruise plans or flight plans until this time next year.

Wrapping up a couple of days vacation in Maine with the parents before heading home today to pack and clean my house some more. My mom is coming back with me to give me a hand. That is a huge help!!!!

I will be moving to Providence either late in the day next Tuesday or Wednesday morning. It all depends when my apartment is ready for me.

I spent the day yesterday completing my change of address forms, reserving a moving truck, setting up phone, internet and cable. I am excited in that it is a change and is the first of many steps in "starting over" in my life.

Hey everyone...

Wrapping up a couple of days vacation in Maine with the parents before heading home today to pack and clean my house some more. My mom is coming back with me to give me a hand. That is a huge help!!!!

I will be moving to Providence either late in the day next Tuesday or Wednesday morning. It all depends when my apartment is ready for me.

I spent the day yesterday completing my change of address forms, reserving a moving truck, setting up phone, internet and cable. I am excited in that it is a change and is the first of many steps in "starting over" in my life.

I am getting Verizon FiOs installed on Thursday (the day after I move in). Since I won't have the YES Network (Yankees Entertainment and Sports), and will have lots of free time on my hands, I imagine I will get it done within a couple of days of moving.

Well, this could only be a short term move. It is a temporary appointment so I could be moving somewhere more permanent the end of June. The good thing is, I will know in a few weeks if I am staying there for a while, or moving again!

Oooooh! - me likey that idea:yay: -or ....how about just one secret larger gift once to one cabin with a set maximum spend of say $20? That way each cabin playing would get one nice gift sometime during the cruise and its easier to pack, less time consuming delivering, less weight and more affordable for everyone:yay: - just a thought. 2011 Is right, and we can make it 20 total whether you want to do just one gift or 5-7 small gifts it's up to the person. So do we want to switch it to a "Secret Parley" (love that Nancy)?

Oops! - Sorry, I meant how about buying just one e.g. $20 cabin gift rather than a gift to every cabin playing (we ended up doing approx 30 bags last cruise). I wasnt very clear was I. :guilty: So, it would be up to the individual player how you spend the $20 whether its several little items or one item, but just buy for one cabin instead of 30 cabins.....just read it back to myself and I'm not sure thats any clearer:lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I understood what you meant, Karen, and I think it's a great idea. It means that you are able to spend a little more on the cabin you pick and it also means you won't have all that extra stuff to take home with you.

We would definitely be 'up for it' if that's what is decided.

Sounds good - we might want to do it a little earlier than a month before though, so it gives us time to shop if we want to make the gift more personalised.

Although we had a lot of fun with the one on our last cruise, we had so much stuff to take home we could have done with an extra suitcase. And we're even more restricted on baggage next year since the airline has changed their baggage allowances again :rolleyes:

Ok, I am officially a Disney dork! For years, Wishes was out of order on my iTunes/iPod. I found my original CD when I was packing and removed it from iTunes. I then reloaded it in the correct order!

I've gotten a couple of PM's giving other ideas about FE exchange. One is doing maybe smaller groups, or even by deck level. I'm thinking that we will stay with the secret cabin parley idea and then if you want to go that extra mile and give and FE to everyone on the thread I can make up a list of people and cabins by deck. I think with luggage restrictions we will have more participants doing the Secret Cabin vs an all out FE exchange.
Cut off date of July 31, 2011, and I will have all info to those participating in the SCP on Aug. 15, 2011, have total amount of cabins for those who want to do the FE exchange then as well. FE lists can be pm'd or emailed on Oct 1st, and hopefully a final cabin list by then.
